Greatest Celebrity Workout Video Ever?

Yeah, it's a video heavy day, but then again, when I'm charge it's always a video heavy day. OK, the clip below might be nine minutes long, but I strongly urge you to settle in for the long haul. This is beyond cheesy:

Dave, this is a workout video from what appears to be the mid-80s starring "Who's the Boss" chub-inducer Alyssa Milano.

There are no Muppets, Teletubbies or rap songs involved.

The 4:00-4:30 mark is the peak. Assuming Teej posted this for onanistic purposes.

After googling said word, why yes, I did.

i didn't watch this in its entirety, and i can't figure out how it went from a dramatic gossipy phone call to an aerobics work-out, but i'm not going to take the time to find out.

a great video montage in the same vein called "infomercial hell."

I'm not watching this video as I'm pretty sure that I can't control where my mind would go whilst watching a teenage Alyssa Milano workout.

Where's the Danny Pintauro workout tape from the early 90's? That's the red-hot action I want.

Alyssa Milano is older than I am so when she made this video it was ok for me to ogle at that time. Is it still ok to ogle though? Even if it's "ok" is it nonetheless creepy?

I'm picturing said video (assuming it's Danny doing some gymnastics like his character did on at least one "Who's the Boss?" episode) and I'm dying over here. I'm going to try and refrain from picturing TR watching the video though.

For the Pintauro tape, I'm envisioning something like the scene where Wormser and Lamar Latrell do aerobics in leg warmers and spandex in Revenge of the Nerds.

Yeah that sounds about right. I feel like a pommel horse is involved too.

Adam Schefter just tweeted this:

Jacksonville LB Quentin Groves emailed ESPN.com that he has been traded to the Oakland Raiders. Groves for a 5th-round pick.

So it's reached the point in sports media coverage that players now email their trades/signings right to the WWL themselves?

In other news, Big Ben just emailed bangbus.com to have them reset his password.

I know Ovechkin is the world's best hockey player and is exciting to watch, but my new favorite Caps player is Knuble. He's a winner AND he's an old guy!

Shlara said...

what did I tell you? Short-handed goal by Knuble

Geoff said...

Knuble with a shorthanded goal. Tits.

Laughlin and Beninadi do a nice job on these games. Everyone bitches about play by play guys, but hovkey seems to have no end of quality guys calling games.

rob said...

ovechkin is decent

Geoff said...

Well, so much for a close, tense game.

Stephen Jackson just got hit in the head by Matt Barnes while driving to the basket. The hit caused his headband to go down over his forehead and left eye. No foul was called. Jackson the pleaded his case (with the headband still covering forehead and left eye) for a solid 45 seconds. Awesome.

Roy Halladay might win 27 games this year. He's absurd in the NL.

i thought you guys would have been chattering about the lorena ochoa retirement today, or maybe not.

just flew from san fran to scottsdale - sat next to a nice gal who's dad is a scout for the lions, and she a fan. i told her that i'm a jags tix holder...her response was a chuckle and an "i'm sorry." i'd like to take this time to reiterate that she's a lions fan.
