They've made a live-action film of the greatest children's book ever written. And Spike Jonze directed it. I am far more excited for this than a man my age should be. So excited that I'm ending sentences with prepositions, in fact. Let the wild rumpus start, indeed.

You know what would make this movie even better?
Sean Penn, Jim Carrey and Benicio del Toro.
i think that's true of any film. three men and a baby. the three amigos. yentl.
Schindler's List.
Further proof that America is out of ideas.
I've had my eye on this one for a while too TJ. Clicks.
In other relevant forthcoming film news that may interest our readership, there's a dandy due out this year called "Goat". It's based on a book of the same name involving the true story of a hazing incident gone awry...
Also, Whit/rob can we get an ID on the ditty playing during that trailer? Arcade Fire? No. No?
Is the movie about a boy from a fine Virginia prep school named Brandon W who idolized a man named J Brown, and then felt betrayed when a group of J Brown's friends covered his fancy Abercrombie & Fitch sweater with cigar smoke and dip spit? So betrayed that he talked to his school's administration about it?
yes, arcade fire, 'wake up'
Silly.
Those guys continue to grow on me...i just still have an issue with the number of people on stage during their shows...

I think his name should be T Brandon W.
TR, your Knicks are really making a strong push to end the year, eh?
If by "strong push" you mean "lose a lot," than they are indeed making a push.
I can't wait to see what team overpays for Nate Robinson this summer.
Yeah, the losing six in a row and capping that with a 140-135 home loss to the woeful Clippers last night is kinda what I was gettin' at...
Breaking News: TO will not be attending Bills voluntary workouts. Also, world is not flat.
What are these people searching for? I mean, seriously?
"burger king midget farmers"
I'm really excited for the potentially fantastic off-field synergy between TO and Marshawn Lynch.
Just don't let Lynch drive them anywhere.
I am at a steak joint, drinking Beck's in a chilled mug, waiting for Mr. Marlin to join me. Thursday beers at 1 PM are under-rated.
man, 7:00 can't come fast enough. i need a stiff drink and some hoops action. and careful not to intermingle any of those words.
So I forgot that my work fantasy baseball draft was last night and I wound up with 4 bench hitters and no backup pitchers. And my pitchers stink. Does anyone have any sleepers I should pick up?
So apparently they're doing a movie version of "Gilligan's Island." Michael Cera is going to be Gilligan, Seth Rogen is Skipper, Vince Vaughn is the Professor, and they want Angelina Jolie for Ginger.
I'd pay to see Angelina Jolie in Ginger's outfit, or at least popping out of it.
And, in other news, my basketball league continues to try and ruin March Madness for me. My game is at 8:30 tonight, and the gym is about 20 minutes from my house. Looks like I'll be missing half of both the early AND late games this evening. Awesome.
hamstring, mark. hamstring.
No sir. As much as I'll hate missing out on some live game action. The allure of officiated competition and the power of my DVR compel me to attend my game.
i understand. i'd do the same.
