TR said...: Lahde's letter made the rounds on Friday. The guy had an $8 MM hedge fund. It made some prescient short bets and had an 870% return in 2007. He had another strong run in 2008 before packing it in.

My co-workers and I guesstimated he walked away with $12-20 MM. You can buy a lot of good bud with that much cash.
