Fuck your shoe...

I don't post here often during the week because I'd have to get up extra early to beat the normal morning filler posts that TJ slaves over each night. Plus, between shaving my head, trimming my beard and electing a few popes, well my morning's pretty well full. However, I don't want you to think I'm just college football posts and banned material. No, no. I'm far more than that. When I was "working" from home I often posted about a wide variety of things...basketball, drugs, Ric Flair and...yeah, that's about it. I'm sure I've touched on a few other topics during my tumultuous time here at Gheorghe, but my memory is not what it once was and I don't much feel like combing through the archives.

While this post does is definitely basketball related, basketball plays but a bit part in things. Instead, I bring you this morning Youtube clip in the hopes of adding a little humor, a bit of a smile and a sprinkling of crazy to your Thursday morning. Who better to bring all of these things to the table the Ron Artest? He is truly an artist and crazy is his medium.

Most of you probably missed this clip since it happened late Sunday night, and closet racists like Rob, Whitney and Zoltan hate the NBA and everyone associated with it. (Except for Stu Jackson of course, they love that fucking guy.) Anyway, enjoy the comedic stylings of Ron Ron the Rottweiler...and have a good Thursday.

You're lucky...I was here quite early today, since I'm still on fucking West Coast time, and did indeed have something fun and exciting planned.

But, I'll let this sit for a few minutes I guess...

how is a technical not given for that? no see i guess.
a quick fyi pertaining to yesterday's post...heard on "Classic Vinyl" satellite radio this a.m., likely between Peter Frampton and the Eagles, that The Who might be playing at the half of the Super Bowl. Coincidence? I think not.
I'm off to the Dr. to have my cubital tunnel looked at.

T.J. said...

Make sure he's not using the whole fist Dan.

d-train said...

too late. and it's fistS, as in more than one. strange.

d-train said...

i feel a hell of a lot better though.

So I can't make (tired) gay jokes but we're okay with TJ and Dan discussing fists in the ass? Okay, I get it.

He didn't really throw it into the "stands" per say.

zman said...

It arguably looks like he was getting the shoe off the court to prevent an injury. I'm glad the Knicks let Ariza go. Who needs a guy who can't tie his shoes?

It's fitting that The Who should be playing at halftime, since they only have half the band left. Start the predictions now as to pertinent song choices.

If there was a trick play that worked in the first half, they should definitely go with "Won't Get Fooled Again."

Magic Bus - if Jerome Bettis comes out of retirement, (insert super bowl team name here) pick him up, and he scores 3TD's prior to end of 2nd qtr.

Happy Jack if the Jags somehow are playing. And Baba O'Riley just because that song rules.

Whitney said...

"Substitute" if Jason Campbell is sucking.

Just a little humor there. Heh, heh.

Tim Lincecum is your back to back NL Cy Young Award winner. Smoke up Johnny, er Timmy.

TR said...

Linecum's throwing a party to celebrate at the Moon Tower. Full kegs. What you need to do is dump those two geeks you're with and get in the car with me, but that's alright, we'll discuss that later.

zman said...

I just wanna dance.

Mark said...

Tim...you gotta joint? It'd be a lot cooler if you did.

Mark said...

Also...I have no problem with Lincecum winning the Cy again. He's great and I love watching him as much as any pitcher since Pedro in his prime...but I can't understand how some voters (Keith Law for example) could leave Carpenter off their ballot entirely.

He led the NL in wins, ERA and % of team wins. Leaving him off your ballot entirely (and replacing him with say Javier Vazquez) is lunacy. That, not splitting votes with Wainwright, is what cost Carpenter the Cy.

Ole Miss/Indiana is on at 5. don't sleep on Ole Miss. Chris Warren and Terico White are a very formidable backcourt combo.

d-train said...

we got a baaahn berner in puerto rice

T.J. said...

IU has a guy you should watch too...Christian Watford.

Mark said...

Puerto Rice? Is this some island that's half hispanic and half asian?

If so, I'm intrigued.

d-train said...

cut me some slack. was up b-4 5 today. not to mention had 2 fists in my anil-kanil (see old snl skit w/alec baldwin) and lastly, 'tis budget season.

T.J. said...

That's right, Dan was up early today, singing "Moon River"...

Mark said...

Don't seem to remember you ever cutting me slack Dan...so no fucking way pal. Nobody made you to have a kid.

TR said...

Too bad Mark didn't tie "Fuck your shoe..." in with the "Fuck your mama" line from Vacation.

Excuse me, can you tell me how to get to the freeway?

Fuck your mama.

Thank you very much!

zman said...

I thought it was a tie in to "fuck your couch" from Dave Chappelle's Rick James skit.

mason gacked. uncw up 9 on talor battle's nittany lions. and the tribe takes on richmond in an appetizer for this weekend's capital cup extravaganza.

Mark said...

Zoltan wins.

And Jeremiah Rivers doesn't want TJ to forget about him at IU either.

I'm interested in watching Cuse-Cal tonight. Cal has two All PAC-10 level guards and I want see what all the hype around Wesley Johnson (Cuse) is about. Everything I've heard is that he's an All-Big East level player and a future first round pick but the fact that he started out at Iowa State makes me wonder.

Unfortunately, I have a basketball game of my own at 8 tonight. Looks like I'll have to settle for watching the country's most underrated player (for now but not for long), Evan Turner, in the nightcap.

rob said...

the color scheme in this cuse/cal game is hard to watch.

Even Gregg Poppovich thinks Thad Matta is hard to look at...

Vitale just spent some time talking about the zig zag pass. Yes, I know that well.

i can't get youtube at work. in the future, i think all clips should be summarized and described in their entirety, so that people without youtube (and blind people who have braille internet) can enjoy them as well.

if not, i'm going to sue.

zman said...

These guys were playing basketball and one guy's shoe fell off and another guy picked it up and tossed it off the court. Then the guys continued playing basketball.

Mark said...

Dan, a better solution would be to quit your job working for Communist China.

Everybody hear that UGA died? I'd rather it have been Smoky but Im not going to complain too much either way.

Possibly noteworthy for some readers.

too bad mason losing yesterday.
nice win for you tribesmen/women/woman

early rising for me hasn't been child related, though the little poopstain does get up very early, nor does it involve my working for a communist regime (don't tell anyone). simply trying to maintain physical superiority over the mere mortals that i share this orb with.

and 'cuse is in dahouse omygodomygod

Dave said...

thanks. now i get it. it's mean to throw someone's shoe away from them, instead you should politely hand it back to them.
