It really is mind-boggling how good Gretzky was. It's just hard to imagine a hockey player -- especially one that's not physically overwhelming -- scoring as much as he did.

ReplyDeleteI don't remember Espo doing Vidal Sassoon ads, but I remember Ron Duguay doing Jordache jeans ads. He was the Jon Bon Jovi of hockey to women in New Jersey in the late 70's, before Chico Resch and the Devils took the state by storm*.
