Fashion is Dumb: zsubmission

A direct email from the zman:
"Fashion is dumb! Google up the picture for this $300 tshirt. Who pays $300 for a tshirt? Especially one this stupid."

Well, he certainly wasn't zwrong. Apparently, Peter Fonda is suing Dolce & Gabbana for making the crappy t-shirt below, and having the audacity to then charge 300 bucks for these things.

Z's follow-up email was also classic:
"Bingo. $300!! I found one “on sale” for “only” $122. Everything I’m wearing right now didn’t cost $122."

  3. The Juice is kinda loose.

According to notable tabloids, OJ is going to die in three months due to the diabeetus.

  4. Sweet, now we can invite him to OBFT.

  17. Who came up with this goofy new Pro Bowl format? I bet Riley Cooper was involved.

  18. Z, you don't like the new format? I think its pretty cool, but I'm biased...

....based on major changes proposed by NFLPA President Domonique Foxworth designed to make it the ultimate fan-friendly celebration of the game...

  19. Not a great summer for the 2008 Gator Football team. It's all Urban's fight.

  20. I think that shirt would be cooler with the sleeves ripped off.

  21. I'm getting ready to go on the fishing trip. I kind of wish I weren't such a pussy.

  22. Re: Pro Bowl ... it looks like 80-some-odd participants are selected by a currently undetermined process. Then Deion Sanders and Jerry Rice help two of the selected players who are captains, who are selected for captaincy by a currently undetermined process, pick teams? This looks like grist for the ESPN 24-hour-news-cycle and nothing more.

  23. Scratch that. The real scoop is:

"Pro Football Hall of Famers Jerry Rice and Deion Sanders will serve as alumni captains, choosing two rosters with the help of two NFL.com fantasy users."

    Preposterous.

  24. I wish the fishing trip wasn't hundreds of miles away. But it is.

  25. You should get a car. Then you could travel.

  27. Driving up to NC for OBFT seems like an inefficient use of my vacation days. It's bad enough that I have to drive to Tallahassee next weekend to visit my sister. I love her and all but Tallahassee sucks and its a five hour drive. Bull. Shit.

    ReplyDelete
  28. I guess Florida is big. Five hours is a long time to remain in one state while driving.

    ReplyDelete
  29. This is cool ... if you think X-Men nerdistry is cool.

  30. Five hours is somewhat acceptable if you end up at the beach. Much less so when you leave the beach and end up in Tallahassee. God I hate that place.
