You Can Do It

So, I was told at 8am today that there was a new post coming from someone with a snow day, but you know what, I never saw it. So you get this (cant wait 'til this gets trumped by Mr. Shoop in five minutes). There is only one winless school left in Division 1 basketball.

Centenary, we wish you well. I looked, and i couldn't find you a win. Sorry. Just take solace in the fact Dave or whatever dumb pseudonym he has created will trump this post shortly.

Anyone wanna name Centenary's most famous alum?

Someone who likes to elect popes like Mark and I?

c'mon, man. that's too easy.

You think McHale and Bird had "elections" with the chief back in the day? Or were they too straight-laced/uncool?

Dennis said...

I imagine McHale would just sit around complaining about the product quality or how he doesn't get his fair share of the bowl...and Bird would take enormous hits by himself in the corner and then taunt everyone else to the point of sucking the fun out of it.

i don't know what you're talking about. i have definitely not created a new pseudonym and i definitely did not take a nap instead of finishing an animated short on a dry erase board because i stayed out too late last night because i was excited about said snow day.

but maybe tomorrow-- now my kids are home and i am going sledding for the fortieth time this winter.

Without cheating, can anybody tell me what the IFPW in IFPW Mastodons stands for?

You sure you have that acronym correct?

rob said...

it's ipfw - indiana/purdue-fort wayne.

this nhl all-star game draft is moderately amusing.

it's gonna suck to be the last guy picked.

After putting in a 73.3 hour week I am finally home and there is nothing that must be done for another 12-16 hours. The zwoman had the good sense to take me out for a dinner consisting of steaks and bourbon, soon to be followed by a a few Netflixed episodes of Deadwood. And right now this sounds like the greatest night ever. I have the stupidest job on earth.

Shitty job or not. That's a pretty solid night,Z.

I think Bird and McHale probably dabbled. I remember a story from Bill Walton about taking them backstage at a Dead show and McHale and Bird were double fisting cans of beer, lots of them. If they hung with Walton then they hung with The Chief...and DJ, too.
