Guru had a heart attack and fell into a coma a few weeks ago, so show some love for Gang Starr even if the video is visually weak.

I don't understand why PALM is running the hell of that commercial with the woman buying shoes during the tourney. Not sure they are reaching their target audience.

I hate when one team banks home a 3 late in the game to take a lead. Such luck...such crap.

ReplyDeleteGotta love St. Mary's. Teams like that make the tournament a lot more interesting. Even though it cause minor damage for my brackets, it was good to see them advance over a generic Villanova.

ReplyDeleteI'm no expert on either team, but it seemed that it was one of those games that wasn't really an upset. St. Mary's is probably the better team than Villanova right now.
ReplyDeleteAgain, I agree. Nova was way too guard dependent offensively and it really showed during the meat of their Big East schedule. St. Mary's is one of those rare mid-major teams that has legitimate inside-outside balance. Not an upset at all. Lesser athletes, sure, but not an inferior team.

ReplyDeleteKansas is better without Aldrich in the lineup against UNI. They move more freely and the floor's more open (thus taking advatage of their off the dribble ability and athleticism) when the Morris twins are in together.

ReplyDeleteI agree, and I am a crap gambler as well. I play poker every month and relish my (usually early) exit from the tense, quiet hold 'em tournament tables so I can go play idiotic games and get housed at the Losers' Table.
