  1. As a (segue from prior thread, am I the only one who knows that it's spelled Segway? I know I'm probably the only three-time grammar school spelling champ in the lot, but that's an easy one, dudes.

  3. You mean the nerdy rolling thing is spelled Segway? Dumbed it down for the doofuses? I saw a product the other day called "Orderves."

The high culture in this country isn't so high.

  4. i actually think calling it a segue would have confused the shit out of everyone, doofus or not. the 'way' in segway has at least a tenuous connection to movement. where's our doofus marketing genius when you need him?

  5. Riding around town on a segway of course.

  6. Is it possible I just saw a Jaguar station wagon?

  7. Sparky - you watching the Magic-Nets?

Dwight Howard in 11 minutes has 13 and 9. And he's missed 7 FTs.

    NBA free preview is great.

  8. I've been watching while drinking and playing cards. Dwight's footwork is much improved this year. I'm quickly starting to go completely in the tank for this Magic team.

  9. By the way, that has nothing to do with the way they're playing tonight. I just love their depth and versatility.

  10. And the Knicks are losing by 16 to a team that scores 59 in it's home opener. 4 of 21 from behind the arc.

  11. He's owning Lopez, who had 27-14-4-5 in game 1. Nets have some components, but they're still bad. Blew a 19 pt lead at Minnesota. I still like watching them though because they have so many young guys.

  12. At least the Knicks will get a good draft pick....oh...

  13. Vince Carter is #2 on the Nets career scoring list. Not a lot of history there.

  14. There's still time for them to prove me wrong, but I'm really appreciating this effort by the Wiz. Lost Caron early, looked like they were going to get their doors blown off in the third, and somehow held it together. This is the kind of game, suffering from injuries and on the road, where they would have lost by 25 last year.

The refs are, however, utilizing their best efforts to make this game unwatchable.

  15. Look at Mayhugh watching the NBA. Must have been a hell of a heap of coins to get rolled.

  16. It's a shooting brake, not a wagon.

  19. Yeah that was a Jaguar wagon. You usually don't see them on the road because they always in the shop. High quality vehicle.

  20. It's called the X-Type Sportwagon, and it's a 4-door wagon. Shooting brakes have 2-doors, unless I'm mistaken.

  26. My bad. I didn't know Jaguar made a wagon (which is properly called an estate). I figured it was an ancient XJS.
