So, today is September 19th, which apparently means it's "International Talk Like a Pirate Day". Kudos to the two donkeys, errr pirates, who thought this one up 13 years ago, most likely after eating two dozen hash brownies and gorging themselves at Long John Silvers. In honor of this magical day, I of course found a clip for us:

rob/rhym-o, is there some sort of Big East bet going on we should be reminded of? Did one of you clowns back West Va as Big East champ?
I think Mark's last comment and my follow-up from the post below need to be repeated (especially since rob just sent me an email saying WVU's coach may be "special")...
Mark: Seriously, West Virginia is horrible. Is Bill Stewart the worst coach...ever?
TJ: Bill Stewart is to coaching what this guy is to bank robbing:
JONESBORO, Ark. (AP) - A man acquitted a month ago of robbing a bank has been arrested in another robbery at the same bank. The man, 35, was accused of robbing Liberty Bank on Tuesday, police say.
The man was acquitted Aug. 21 of robbing the bank last October after employees could not positively identify him during his trial.
as i noted to teejay, i wish i'd have put my money where my mouth is regarding west virginia. my proclamation of the 'eers suckitude was entirely based on a lack of confidence in stewart. i seem to be right, for once.
You think Lane Kiffin is going to like Morgantown?
i can't remember if we actually made a bet, but rhymo did break bad on the rest of the big east. at this point, it looks like south florida and the 11 dwarves. or however many other teams there are.
For how good the Big East is in basketball, they are ten times worse than that in football. At least this year.
And rob, I think the BE only has 8 teams. Well, 7 really, you can no longer count the 'Cuse as a real football team.
yep - 8 teams. got confused by the 42-team basketball conference.
so it's south florida and the 7 dwarves. how cute.
You of all people should know better - it's "little people". They prefer to be called "little people". Jesus rob.
My argument sounded pro-WV, but it was more a slam on the other teams. Kinda like WV has a chance because they may be the king of the dipshits.
USF looked okay against KU, but how good is KU?
But all in all, the Big East is HORRENDOUS this year. A real step backward after the conference gained a lot of momentum in 2006.
pat white and noel devine alone should be good enough to get wvu 5 wins in the conference, but stewart's powers of dipshittery may cancel out their genius.
Pat White is Pau Gasol soft.
