Not gonna lie - I was disappointed to see CBS cut away to a Couric-Barry interview, but I found it much more entertaining than I thought I would have. She did not hold back and he balanced between sounding contrite and holding to his beliefs. Good job by her and a humble showing by him.
I'm just bummed it took away from the splendor of James Brown's hair in HD. Tremendous.
feeling good about my numbers in the family 10x10 pool. $25 on the line. my brother-in-law's brother, on the other hand, is in a pool with a $25k total payout.
Senior citizen multi-millionaires singing anti-establishment songs during halftime of arguably the most corporatized event in the world...doesn't work for me.
Saints up 7 after 2 point conversion. 24-17. Colts driving with 3:50 left. Concern that they will score with too much time on the clock. They are moving the ball a little too feverishly.
Front page, above the fold, of today's WashPo is a story about Saturday's snowstorm. DC is the capital of the free world, and the lead story in the city's premiere newspaper is about a two-day-old snowfall?
Are the subways still shut down? Because underground trains can't run when there's snow on top of the tunnel.

I'm gonna take it you missed Shannon Sharpe "singing" and ruining any Who song for the rest of my life then, or else you wouldve mentioned it.
saw the sharpe performance. he's got some cajones. and he knew all the words. i was a little impressed by that.
Actually, Dan makes a tremendous point...what were the odds Shannon Sharpe knew the words to any Who songs?
I'm not gonna lie, I'm looking forward to the new Super Bowl Shuffle commercial.

what's the final line on this game?
Indy -5. O/U 57.
Root for saints 6 colts 0.
shannon sharpe sang a who song? wow.
i missed two parties this weekend-- caught strep throat from my kids and spent the last two days in a feverish delirium.
then i found out my pool numers are 8 and 9.
it figures.
Bring it Queen Latifah...
Abe Vigoda is still alive?
Dave,
I feel your pain. In the pool I am in every year, the last three I have had 5-2, 2-2, and 8-8. Not good times.
I am in jamaica, island not queens, so I know not why Abe is being referenced, but yes he is still kicking.
super bowl shuffle commercial my favorite thus far, but overall, none have exceeded expectations
daaangerous sequence here for folks who want a close game.
I'm just waiting for the commentator reaction in the event Freeney gets a sack. I predict it will be favre-esque.
it took about ten minutes but you were correct mayhugh.
career builder #1 commerical.
nice catch garcon. that wasn't important or anything.
Did Marls win the first half for his box pool? Was it the Pete's Tavern pool?
if so, marls is funding the g:tv summit
OK, get them off the stage.
I like the Who.
Um, are you listening to them?
Although Daltry can't sing. Townsend still sounds passable.
Also, I took a percocet tonight.
The Who are getting it done in a big way.
I agree. It took Daltry a few minutes for his voice to warm up, but they are really bringing it now.
But it's not REALLY the Who without "Thunderfingers" Entwhistle on bass.
Don't be a hater, Teej. Remember Mick Jagger running around in a half-shirt?
I shall not hate...unless it's on the new medical drama from Jerry Bruckheimer, Miami Medical.
Senior citizen multi-millionaires singing anti-establishment songs during halftime of arguably the most corporatized event in the world...doesn't work for me.
sean payton's huevos are ginormous
WOW. I can't believe that call.
If I were the Colts Defense, I'd be a little rattled on this series.
The game badly needed that onside kick and elongated scrum. Hopefully that will set the tone for the 2nd half.
The Katrina Kick changes everything.
It just might open the floodgates.
Let's just hope Peyton and the Colts can keep their heads above water.
I'll admit I didn't expect a Denny's commercial during the SB.
Lack of such bold moves is why the Marv Levy's of the world failed at the most important time.
Who's the MVP at this point? Addai?
Winning QB. They both have good stats.
hartley could get some mvp votes if the saints win
Can't Hartley Wait
didn't know jerry's repetoire went that deep
This game is setting up either QB for a chance at a game winning drive.
What is Brees' completion percentage right now, about 85%?
Go for 2
Run the same play, in fact.
That was a completion.
I know that was super slo-mo, but that should really be a catch. He caught the ball over the line.
wow - not sure that was indisputable video evidence
How about some love for the Lance Moore effort?
I'd be happy with either a game tying drive or a pick by Sharper here.
For those of us in third world nations, update please.

Thanks jamboni. Keep it coming.
Barkley rocking what has to be a 58 suit jacket in the Taco Bell commercial.
Figures Lamar Odom would be in a Taco Bell ad.
Pick 6 for New Orleans. That should be your ball game.
Caldwell just moved his mouth.
They couldn't resist calling Caldwell "classy" in the post-game.
And I'm kind of jazzed for "Undercover Boss"
are you virginians working today or off with the kids?
next sporting event to look forward to - march hoops followed by Masters.

The snow is a big deal here. It will probably have more impact on more people in the area than any other piece of news this year.
They are calling for an additional 10-20" starting tomorrow at noon. I'll be working from home until April.
