Sentiment We Can All Believe In

A multiple-duty clip this morning in honor of W&M's big hardcourt win over UNC-Wilmington last night, Teejay's early-morning adventures on the continent, Whitney's general state of affairs, and Mark. Just wanted to honor Mark. Ladies and Gentlemen, the Tribe's own Scott Miller:

Charles Darwin and Abe Lincoln both turn 200 today. Neither played college basketball or even attended a CAA school, but both are decidedly noteworthy nonetheless.

And strikes out 200 times.

The Nats outfield is pretty crowded right now....don't forget they picked up Josh Willingham too.

Right now it's: Dunn, Kearns, Millege, Willingham, and Dukes. All potential starters for other teams. What are the chances Bowden trades one for a middle-of-the-rotation starter?? Probably somewhere between 6-9%.

Gnats talk? Really? Is that the best we have here? No bracketology?

Dennis said...

I'm not talking about basketball today. I'm in mourning...

where's dc geofferson with the photographic expose of jim bowden? tens of people are dying to know.

Mark said...

Seems a little early for bracketology talk for my taste. But its always too early for Nationals talk as far as I'm concerned.

I'd just like to say that the Duke-UNC post was awesome. I've always liked the idea of allowing each NCAA team to keep a player indefinitely if he's

A) Not that good
B) Emblematic of their program
C) In possession of certain entertaining qualities

william and mary would have 724 players on their roster.

It appears that Duke is indeed keeping Wojo indefinitely.

Bowden still lives in my building, but he stopped parking in the handicapped spot every day so I never snapped a photo of that. He was doing so for about 3 months, but when it came out he had a minor bout with cancer I lost my stomach for exposing his illegal parking. And, Mark's protestations not withstanding, I've ended up chatting with him a handful of times and he's been friendly and gracious.

the same people that got to judd gregg got to geoff. it's a sad time in which we're living, friends.

We will continue the slander until Jimmy B proves he can right this ship.

I imagine that Bowden's probably great (or at least tolerable) if he perceived you to be at or near his level (anybody else see why Geoff and him would get along so well?) but I was nowhere near that during my time with the Nats and he made sure I and my fellow staff members were well aware of this. Sorry Geoff, he's a world class douche who says the word "dog" to often and wears suede jumpsuits.

Also, I'm a little disappointed that Geoff didn't have the stones to voice his displeasure with the direction of the Nationals to Bowden. Starstruck, I guess.

Mark, when I've run into Bowden I've been wearing a suit...when you did, you looked like the lead singer of CrazyTown. Could that be it?

I always wear long sleeved button down shirts and nice dress pants to work, dick. Nice try though.

And, my tattoos are far better than that jackass Seth's tats.
