Thanks to Whitney

for finding this clip of what it feels like to be back at work after a week's vacation in Italy (recap of this dummy in Firenze pending). Yeah, I feel like the little kid in this clip:

so tyson chandler's worldview just changed.

Yeah, I'm sure he's psyched to be moving back to Oklahoma City.

Honestly though, I like that trade for the Thunder a lot down the road.

My boy Robbie Hummel and Purdue looking good tonight.

This kid Booker on Clemson is good for at least one sick follow dunk per game.

Someone needs to let Mike Miller know the Kristy McNichol look isn't working.

Mark said...

Tj's really firing from all angles tonight.

In a bold fashion statement, Jeannine Edwards has stolen Inspector Clouseau's smoking jacket from A Shot in the Dark to wear on the sidelines tonight.

you can't contain him, mark.

nor can you contain jodie meeks.

Sure, it's the Twolves, but I still cannot believe the Wiz are going to win this game based on the four donkeys (and Caron) that have played crunchtime minutes.

Ernie, for the love of god, make this Jamison deal with Cleveland.

I think it's cute that Vandy let's Dawson Van Der Beek play center for them.

TJ said...

Without looking, and including today's trade, how many teams has Joe Smith played for? And can you name them?

TJ said...

Mark, did I not only just see JJ the Poet on the floor in crunchtime, but also saw him drain the three to send it to OT?

rob said...

nice to see greivis and the boys 'go to war' for gary tonight.

Mark said...

Yeah, JJ got it done. I'm still really bummed out about Jameer Nelson's injury and its ramifications on what looked to be a breakthrough season for Orlando (as they get ready to move into a new arena). I think they fall to a 5 or 6 seed in the east by season's end.

Rhymo, I see this year's slam dunk champ is looking to carry your Knicks to a nice OT win over the Spurs.

TJ said...

Howard had 45, 19 and 8? Sweet Jesus.

Mark said...

23 years old. And, honestly, he doesn't get a ton of pub (dunk contest excepted).

Mark said...

Oh yeah, Kevin Durant had 47 tonight.

Mark said...

Lively night in the Association. Jerry's boy Louis Admunson just got punched by Zach Randolph.

Texas Tech is going to fire Mike Leach? What have I missed here?

They should be firing Pat Knight for not doubling Blake Griffin the other day.

Mark said...

Seems you've missed a lot. Leach and Tech have been at odds over his extension for a while now. He's now let the deadline on signing the extension expire and they can fire him for this, if they wish.

Seems like a bad move for both parties at this point in the process.

providence is channeling rollie massimino's '85 squad. the friars aren't missing against louisville.

TJ said...

Louisville did not take kindly to rob's praise of the Friars and has opened the second half on a tremendous tear.

rob said...

yes, i seem to have triggered a 19-1 louisville run. sorry, keno.

TJ said...

See, it's not just Mark...entire hoops teams hate you too.

rob said...

it appears they hate rebounding more than they hate me.

TJ said...

Penn St beat Illinois 38-33 tonight? That's the final?

God I hate the Big Ten.

rob said...

almost as bad as the 2001 caa final - mason beat uncw, 35-33.

rob said...

also, apropos of nothing, francesa was killllling a-rod today. the highlight of my otherwise miserable drive back from jersey.

TJ said...

I still remember Wisonsin and Mich St trying to ruin the Final Four a couple years back.

That was Florida's first Final Four and the game was so bad that it nearly killed all the collective enthusiasm at a complex wide keg (conservative estimate: 50) party I was at for the Florida-UNC semifinal. Luckily, kids in their early 20 with dozens of kegs can find a multitude of ways in which to create excitement.
