I just can't help myself

Hey rob, thanks for finding my shoe...

The actual caption:
"He Pingping, the world's shortest man, with a giant shoe on February 13, 2009. Wearing a sparkly white suit and sporting a tuft of dyed, slicked-back hair, he said on Friday that there was every reason to think big about being tiny."

It's about fucking time:

Washington Nationals general manager Jim Bowden's job is in jeopardy, according to people familiar with the situation.

The Nationals are said to be seriously considering firing Bowden in the wake of the Esmailyn Gonzalez debacle. SI.com reported last week that the Nationals prospect who received a $1.4 million signing bonus is not actually a 19-year-old named Esmailyn Gonzalez but rather a 23-year-old named Carlos Alvarez Daniel Lugo, a major embarrassment to the Nationals organization.

Hey Teej. In case you're wondering what the Jets' offensive holes are, here are the positions that remain unfilled:

WR - Coles cut
TE - Baker cut
RG - Moore unsigned
FB - Richardson unsigned
QB - shit sandwich

So it seems like Rex Ryan is really trying to build a new Ravens squad here - No offensive talent, no QB talent, stout defense, miserably boring games.

Rex Ryna and Raheem Morris should hang out this offseason. Evidently, both believe in cutting high priced veteran talent regardless of the immediate impact on your team's upcoming season.

I know that most of the guys the Bucs cut needed to be cut but I'm a little curious to see who they are planning on replacing most of the team's core veterans with. I'm thinking the Bucs win about 5 games next year.

TR, if that's what we're now calling you, the only position you listed where I think the Jets are OK is TE. Keller will be fine, as long as no blocking is required from the TE.

I'm interested to see how this Coles thing plays out. He whined last off-season and the Jets guaranteed the last two years of his deal ($6 MM base per year for two years). He walked away from $6 MM to try to ink one more big FA deal.

The question is this: Who is going to pay a big signing bonus to a 31 year-old WR with a history of concussions? I don't know the list of FA WRs, but I doubt Coles is on the top 3 of that list.

And Raheem Morris seems to want to cut anybody older than him. He's gutting the character of that team by cutting all of those guys.

Well, the character of that team has to take at least some of the blame for the way they fell apart down the stretch.

Well, the Redskins sure are predictable...
