This week on The Test, Stacey quizzes us about her literary heroes. You'll certainly learn some anecdotes to brandish while you sip cocktails with your effete, hyper-educated friends. If you don't have any effete hyper-educated friends, then listening to this podcast will be the first step to finding some.
As a bonus, I make some half-baked jokes to mask my lack of knowledge, and Cunningham decides that in order to inspire her literary muse, she'll either need to live inside a computer or journey to Mars.
The moral? You don't need to read the book to seem educated, you just need to know some literary stuff. Good luck!

Rob- if you're still out on the perimeter of Atlanta, look up the Sweetwater Brewery. It's located on the outskirts of Atlanta. If you're somewhat close, it's well worth a visit.
I'm giving myself partial credit for A Moveable Feast.
Florida guys - I will be in Vero Beach in about 10 hours. Any good eats around there or am I up a creek with beach restaurant options only? Also, for future reference, is there a better airport to fly in if I am heading there than Orlando? It's like a 90 mile drive, but FL is pretty big...
holy fucking allergies, man. the pollen here is not playing around.
welcome to my world, man
I'm allergic to everything
Mayhugh...Melbourne is an option. It is just north of Vero. Mark will hook you up w eats. Or TJ.
i never read that one, but just knowing the title is worth a point.
George Mason renamed their law school the Antonin Scalia School of Law. ASSoL for short. They shall never be Gheorghe Mason again.
Melbourne Airport is a good option, Mayhugh. It's small so getting in and out is really, really easy. I'm pretty sure they still have direct flights to/from DC as well.
As for Vero, I haven't been there since they shuttered Dodgertown so I'm no help on the food front.
hey gheorghies!
fat tire as penetrated the jersey market (and the park pub)
no complaints
Hi...from Charleston.
Mayhugh- it's been a few years since I spent a bunch of time in Vero, but I would look up the following:
Maison Martinique
Di Mare for Italian, previously Monte's.
You should go to the ocean grill, it's a cool old Florida spot right on the ocean. Food is good but not great. The location and ambiance are the draw. You can then go next door and have a drink at Waldo's which is a good beach bar.
Hi Dan
Clicks for Waldo.
another big one here at gtb.
I need to secretly mic up the parking lot below my office here. There is always something to see. I just wish I could hear. Just a bit ago I witnessed what looked like a passionate break-up. The girl, who was hawt as Georgia asphalt (but with poor posture), kicked the guy, a skaterat kind of dude who way outkicked his coverage, told him to hit the bricks. (SOD?)
And literally just when I began writing this, another chic who is also strong to very strong, donning little skirt and combat boots with knee-highs (hubba hubba) appeared and proceeded to walk between the cars and squat down seemingly looking for something she probably lost last night in a drunken stupor leaving the bar. She didn't find it whatever it was. I swear I'm not a pervert. I love you honey!
kicked the guy told him to hit the bricks. you know what I meant.
Did she take his wallet and go straight to OTB?
My wife's best friend's husband worked at the bar that Dan's office overlooks for 15-20 years. Just stopped altogether (had only been doing weekends for the last 5 years or so) a couple weeks ago. I have no doubt Dan sees some amazing day after drama from his office.
No shit? It's a good spot...I don't get there enough. Owners must kill it.
I'm sure they do. It is a good spot.
He only stayed on as a weekend bartender after they started having kids because the money was too good.
My wife is up there this weekend. Buy her a drink.
hey gheorghies
long time no hey gheorghies
for me at least
Hey Clarence.
Marls, buddy. I hope you got some rest for #TJXL day.
