Gross

Here's his right side....

And here's his left...along with a fierce snarl that vaguely attempts to distract us from his idiocy.

Well then. Yeah, even I think that's a bit much.

I should edit the post and include the other side of his neck, where it says Bird.

TR, who you pulling for tonight - Rays or Rangers?

TR said...

I am on the fence, The Teej. Initial pick was the Rays to avoid Cliffy. He's going tonight, but he can come back for Games 2 and 5/6. But Tampa's running game scares me. They have 6 guys who stole 10+ bases. I guess I'm sorta pulling for Tampa.

Most of all, I am rooting for no cold, after spending 4 hours in a Rutherformd monsoon with Z-Man last night.

Upon further review, the Teej is correct: the Panthers are worse than the Bills, particularly on offense.

And I was surprised to see that the Redskins lead the league in passing first down conversions allowed with 80. That's 16 a game.

Cliff Lee in the playoffs: 5-0, 1.52 ERA, 0.80 WHIP, 43 Ks to 6 BBs.

I think Beckett was better until he shat the bed a few years ago.

I've seen Outlaw, and I've seen Blue Bloods, and they are both steaming piles. And somehow Blue Bloods is not only NOT cancelled, but also attracting 11.09 million viewers. I don't even know this country anymore.

Mark said...

Yes you do, Mayhugh. It's a CBS weekend show. and the show itself plays right into that CBS-Weekend Show 60+ demographic. Embarrassing but predictable.

mayhugh said...

You're right, of course. Sadly, the only thing I share with most of that demographic is the same political party.

TR said...

I share a love of prunes with the geriatric set.

Cliffy Lee has thrown 100 pitches through 7. Will be interesting to see how long they let him go.

u guys hear about these trapped miners over in argentina or somewhere?

T.J. said...

I heard Brett Favre sent a picture of his scrot to one of the miners.

Danimal said...

one of 'em has been "mining" courtney heart cox.

T.J. said...

Have you seen who David Arquette was tagging? She is quite fine.

Dave said...

i wished i named one of my sons "darnerian."

or if i really had balls: "damnerian."

Dave said...

also, i am wondering how long those trapped miners get off from work before they have to go back down into a mine shaft. i hope they at least get a long weekend out of this.

Danimal said...

no...have not seen. please indulge me.

Danimal said...

those guys won't have to work again. movie deals. book deals. oprah. tosh.0 you name it.
let's see our rodent friend land an interview with THEM.

mayhugh said...

Those miners were a good time. Some of them were a little more formal about greeting their loved ones than I would expect under the circumstances, but I really enjoyed the guy who game up (I think he was #5) who turned the whole scene into an impromptu pep rally/hooligan soccer crowd.

TR said...

You gotta wonder if the miners had time to, um, "explore themselves" while they were down there.

Two months in a cave is bound to make a man lonely.

Geoff said...

I was wondering that as well. I hope someone took charge and set aside a designated area for such pursuits. That individual could then use that story as an example of "a time in which he demonstrated leadership" for all future job interviews.

zman said...

You gotta work like a guy in a cave.

What if one guy is the Chilean Brooks Hatlen and just can't handle leaving? Does he go bonkers and blow the tunnel?

Dave said...

i am going to go out on a limb and say that i did not wonder at all whether these men were sodomizing each other. you guys are fucked up.

also, this is not "alive"-- it's too dark. there's no way that this is going to be an exciting movie/book. even if they were sodomizing each other. but i may do a g:tb interview this weekend and break out of my g:tb slump.

anyone want to take a quess as to how many days they were down there?

T.J. said...

It's 70, right? They couldn't have been saved a day early? Dammit.

Danimal said...

the report i read said 69....so that must be the right number.

Mark said...

I have to agree with Dave. Of the many thoughts I had on the Chilean miner situation, none of them included miner on miner sodomy.

There's a band called Wolf Parade playing the local artsy theater near me. I know nothing about them.

Their opener? A band named Ogre You Asshole. I laughed out loud at that one and immediately felt sad that anybody under 25 has no idea how great that name is. I miss the Tim Kazurinsky era.

Just realized I got my Police Academy and Revenge of the Nerds actors confused. My bad.
