We Are the Three Amigos

We are the three-hee ah-haaaaaaa-migos!

Why do I find this photo of Charlie Villanueva and Rudy Gay flanking Hasheem Thabeet so interesting? It's not that Rudy and Charlie are flashing conflicting signs. It's not Charlie dressing like he's about to tailgate for a Dave Matthews show. And it's not Rudy's enormous watch. It's Hasheem and his faux pimp shades. They're fantastic. Beyond fantastic, actually. He's like a cross between this guy from Commando and Predator and Billie Dee Williams. The over/under for children he bears out of wedlock by age 30 is currently at 3.5.

The new Arlington video is pretty funny. I'm not sure if I'm behind or ahead of the curve on that one.

That shirt is great. I can't wait to try it on when I get my bottle of Jameson from Rob. Also, I'm pretty disappointed in TJ. He promised me at least a couple of drunken phone calls from him and Greg during last night's game. I even told Vitas about it ahead of time. Of course, he never called. Luckily I had plenty of beer and ballots to keep me occupied.

I've got to say. Reading Simmons's diary of Game 4 makes me want to drink...heavily.

i don't know what's best about this link, the instructions for building a kegorator, or the fact that there's a kegorators.com:

So, I'm sure I'm late on this since I don't follow baseball all that closely but the crawl on ESPN (yes, I was watching the College World Series) just informed me that their is a major league pitcher whose last name is Bastardo. That...is fantastic.

for those of you with kids, i recommend 'night at the museum 2'. entertaining movie as kids' stuff goes, with the added benefit of a whole lot of amy adams in a very tight pair of aviator pants as amelia earhart. mercy.

how the fuck does manny acta take the fall for the collection of dreck arms the front office has given him? just a horribly run franchise.

It's easier to fire managers/coaches than it is to replace talent, or lack there of.

I believe Buster Olney said it best today (good God the summer is boring), we really don't know if Manny Acta is a good manager or not because he has had such a shitty collection of players during his tenure. But, with the lack of success that the Nationals are still experiencing you might as well make a change and see if things improve...you've literally got nothing to lose.
