Kevin Garnett thinks very little of your streak

Boston 94, Houston 74. So, I guess the Celtics are pretty good?

  2. Not sure how I missed this, but now Timberwolves owner Glen Taylor is saying K.G. tanked it? Vince Carter, he definitely tanked it. K.G., I sure didn't think so...

  3. I'm pretty sure who ever the 8 seed is in the East (Atlanta, NJ, Indiana?) is going to be 36-46...that's not good.

  4. and the 9 seed in the west will have 48+ wins.

  5. Robert, how many double digit seeds do you have winning Thurs/Fri?

  6. pretty conservative this year - i have st joe's, siena, davidson, st. mary's, and baylor moving on.

  7. Uh oh, we agree on a lot of those...that can't be good.

  8. Kenny Bloom convinced me to root for Davidson. I probably would, anyway, but he made a strong case that they are just about the closest thing to W&M that will ever actually get into the tourney. Cheering for "the Wildcats" reminds me of Belushi's "COLLEGE" sweathsirt, but it'll do.

  9. Caps Pride:

Alexander Ovechkin scored once and assisted on two others in Washington's 4-2 doubling of Nashville on Tuesday night.

Alexander the Great has certainly lived up to his nickname this season and throughout his short and brilliant career, as he has already become the first player in franchise history to record 100 points twice in a Caps' uniform. His empty-net marker was his league-leading 58th goal of the season and he now sits atop the NHL scoring race with a fantastic 102 points this season. In fact, Ovechkin has now amassed a ridiculous 300 points in just 237 career games, over the course of the past three seasons. Alexander Semin, Nicklas Backstrom, and Matt Bradley scored the Caps' other goals on Tuesday night.

  10. I believe I spoke of Davidson early in the year...watch out for L'il Curry...I wish they didn't play the Zags though - i heart them as well.

And so i guess we're punting our little contest? I figured as much.

  11. I picked Davidson last year but I'm hesitant to do so this year. I think Pargo might be able to force Curry into a tough day from the field. If that happens, well, you know.

  12. we're great at ideas. we suck at execution.

  13. Is anybody picking Miami? I like St. Mary's a lot but it seems to have some serious reverse upset potential...

  14. Did you realize St. Joes, as an 11, is favored over Oklahoma? Now, I realize the Sooners occassionally have more trouble scoring than Louis and Gilbert, but still, an 11 favored over a 6 surprises me.

And based on my bracket, I think VERY little of the ACC and the Mountain West.

  15. To that point, I feel like I'm the only person who walked away from the ACC Tourney impressed with Clemson.

  16. Nah, they got me too...I like the balance between those veteran guards and the uber-athletic bigs they have.

  17. me, three. i like them to get at least to the round of 16.

  18. So, who's getting blown out of the water in Round 1? I like one of these three to lose by 20+:
    Baylor
    Oregon
Texas A&M (man, I really hate that team...and for no reason really)

  19. bite your tongue on baylor, young man.

i like miss. state to bury oregon and marquette to stomp kentucky.

  20. Don't want to give away too many winners today, but Xavier is very good people.

    Very. Good.

  21. xavier won't get out of the round of 32.

    your move.

  22. You've got Zona (or Duke?) over Xavier? I'll bet you those beers in your garage (which are actually mine anyway)...

    ReplyDelete
  23. those beers are lonnnng gone, lad.

  24. I'm a little scared that TJ and I are of such like minds. I'm a pretty big Xavier fan these days too. Rob's just bitter b/c even Drew Lavender is bigger than him...

  25. I just heard one of those songs Greg plays all the time on Guitar Hero and had a "Martin Sheen in Apocalypse Now" meltdown.
