Saw P-Funk and Bootsy's Rubber Band and Co. at U. Maryland's Cole Field House in 1975 or '76. Clinton and Parliament didn't get started until almost midnight. In the era before cellphones, made command decision to stay for the entire show, knowing that I would be in deep shyte when I got home. Which I was, since I didn't get home until about 3:30 a.m. Parents didn't believe they were still playing music past 2 a.m.
