GTB Sex Week: PONYBOY

It's Sex Week here at G:TB but that doesn't mean Rob stopped ordering people around. Unfortunately, despite yesterday being my three year anniversary it also doesn't mean I got any yesterday. My wife started a new job recently and is currently training in South Florida for the week (and numerous weeks to come). Besides often being left alone with my wild animal of a two year old. It also means I have to get my sexy feeling some other way than usual...

great, now will be stuck with this song in my head for weeks after searching for all these videos and loading them in...

Back at my first college I used to smoke weed with this guy who had the lyrics to 'Pony' artfully written on his dorm room wall. Not surprisingly, he wasn't a big hit with the ladies.

Mark said...

Of course y'all hate 'Pony'.

zman said...

It hits too close to home.

I had no idea Mark, about your soft side.

That skater is all jacked up!

So what do we have, about 200 days 'til college football? womp womp.

Is lebron's face mask carbon fiber? It's menacing.

Steve Buchantz & Phil Chenier are such homers. I love it. They are incapable of saying anything critical of the Wiz.

Clarence said...

Shlara, they called it right that the Wiz'a would-be buzzer beater to end 2OT was too late. I have to give them credit for that.

I cannot accept Paul pierce in a non-celtics uniform.

hey gheorghies!

I say this on Twitter quite a bit but I should here too...I loathe everything about Dan Dakich as a color guy for college basketball games. Not a huge fan of him in other settings either.

Dave appears to have jumped the gun with daylight savings time.

If ever you find yourself on the mic on a karaoke machine, I highly recommend either Pony or In Those Jeans to bring the house down.

Thanks for the article Rob. Reading now.

Private Dancer is a personal karaoke favorite. Always gets the crowd going.

you don't look at their faces, and you don't ask their name...

I Wanna Be Sedated is a pretty good one - high energy & very little singing ability required, as in none

zman said...

"Keep Your Hands to Yourself" gets it done.

Danimal said...

yes, yes it does. that was my very first karaoke performance, a quartet w/friend lynch and 2 very drunk sisters in Daytona beach...1992. someone scored that night but it wasn't me.

Greg really brings the karaoke heat on 'Putting on the Ritz'.

Anybody see Barry Switzer say he'd never recruit a white QB? Of course then Troy Aikman needed to remind him that he had, in fact, recruited and signed Troy Aikman.

zman said...

I managed to get a gaggle of our drunken and meatheaded fratre onstage at Senior Frog's in Cancun using "Keep Your Hands to Yourself" as my pitch. The karaoke gatekeeper only let girls perform and turned away many groups of guys. I told our flock of morons that I'd get us up there. The guy asked me skeptically "what song do you want to do?" and I looked him dead in the eye and said "Keep Your Hands to Yourself by the Georgia Satellites." He raised his eyebrows and said "Alright then."

And thus concludes my "best call I ever made story."

You should get some G:TB merch going. We need a logo.

T.J. said...

yeah, we've needed that for ten years now..

Without saying it directly, Adam Silver has come out multiple times and said basically, "Yeah, I think Raymond Felton's wife set him up."

rob said...

anthony davis can do so many things on the court

Eyebrow-raising things

I kinda like Adam Silver--he's goofy.

And, as Black History Month comes to a close, I want to share a little piece by my friend Fox:

Hi, gheorghies!

In NYC -- got loaded with Marls, Dave, Zman, TR, and FOGTB Redeye. Dave and I played some insane darts and befriended some drunken Yanks. God bless the big city.
