GTB Sex Week: PONYBOY

It's Sex Week here at G:TB but that doesn't mean Rob stopped ordering people around. Unfortunately, despite yesterday being my three year anniversary it also doesn't mean I got any yesterday. My wife started a new job recently and is currently training in South Florida for the week (and numerous weeks to come). Besides often being left alone with my wild animal of a two year old. It also means I have to get my sexy feeling some other way than usual...

  2. Back at my first college I used to smoke weed with this guy who had the lyrics to 'Pony' artfully written on his dorm room wall. Not surprisingly, he wasn't a big hit with the ladies.

  3. Of course y'all hate 'Pony'.

  7. Steve Buchantz & Phil Chenier are such homers. I love it. They are incapable of saying anything critical of the Wiz.

  8. Shlara, they called it right that the Wiz'a would-be buzzer beater to end 2OT was too late. I have to give them credit for that.

  10. I say this on Twitter quite a bit but I should here too...I loathe everything about Dan Dakich as a color guy for college basketball games. Not a huge fan of him in other settings either.

  12. If ever you find yourself on the mic on a karaoke machine, I highly recommend either Pony or In Those Jeans to bring the house down.

Thanks for the article Rob. Reading now.

  15. I Wanna Be Sedated is a pretty good one - high energy & very little singing ability required, as in none

  16. "Keep Your Hands to Yourself" gets it done.

  17. yes, yes it does. that was my very first karaoke performance, a quartet w/friend lynch and 2 very drunk sisters in Daytona beach...1992. someone scored that night but it wasn't me.

  19. Greg really brings the karaoke heat on 'Putting on the Ritz'.

Anybody see Barry Switzer say he'd never recruit a white QB? Of course then Troy Aikman needed to remind him that he had, in fact, recruited and signed Troy Aikman.

  20. I managed to get a gaggle of our drunken and meatheaded fratre onstage at Senior Frog's in Cancun using "Keep Your Hands to Yourself" as my pitch. The karaoke gatekeeper only let girls perform and turned away many groups of guys. I told our flock of morons that I'd get us up there. The guy asked me skeptically "what song do you want to do?" and I looked him dead in the eye and said "Keep Your Hands to Yourself by the Georgia Satellites." He raised his eyebrows and said "Alright then."

And thus concludes my "best call I ever made story."

  27. I kinda like Adam Silver--he's goofy.

And, as Black History Month comes to a close, I want to share a little piece by my friend Fox:
