    From what I hear, its LSU unless some another, higher profile school has an opening soon. If it comes down to LSU and So. Car then its definitely LSU. They've got deeper pockets, better facilities, a better local talent pool and the SEC West is the easier of the two divisions.

    Also, I wish I could've been in the room when the ESPN execs sent some low level employee into the dressing room to try and convince Bobby Knight to eschew the golf pullover/polo shirt combo for a jacket and tie last night. That had to be one of the all time great one-sided conversations.

    The Jan Michael Vincent story is beyond depressing. He's been a raging alcoholic for so long that it's a wonder he's still alive. This decade, he still has benders where he goes AWOL for weeks at a time, sleeps like a bum in parks and on the beach, and drinks like a fish.

    Maryland hasn't seemed to have a ton of talent in recent years. I know that Williams usually goes for under the radar guys but he hasn't been as successful finding and/or developing that talent in recent days.

    Why, exactly, doesn't Maryland recruit more/better in Baltimore? For christ's sake, Syracuse consistently beats them out for top guys there.

    Pretty exciting day in the SEC tourney, even with out Florida (sigh). Lofton hits a 25 footer to win it for Tennessee and now Bama rattles home a deep three to send their game against MSU to OT.

    Rick Stansbury's hissy fit after Ben Hansbrough didn't foul and allowed Bama to get the 3 off was priceless.

    also a bit nonplussed about all the mid vs. mid first-rounders. at least 3 quality mid-majors go out in the first round no matter what, with butler/so. alabama, kent state/unlv, and gonzaga/davidson in round 1.
