Wish I Knew What You Were Looking For

In the latest installment of our meanderings down 1980s alternative rock pathways, here's one that I always loved. It leads you here, despite your destination.

I kinda like them reminding the Glazers what money-grubbing douches they are. Not that the Glazers care.

I've loved this song ever since my college age uncle hipped me to it when it was new.

I'm in the midst of unpacking an office we're moving into the spot downtown where Whitney and I once drunkenly made music and passed out upright on the couch. It was the first time we ever hung out, and Marls didn't warn me.

May look for my The Church cassette before I go back to the salt mine.

I dig The Church. Other top tunes of theirs include Reptile, Metropolis, and The Unguarded Moment. Check ‘em out.

And Rootsy, that studio is awesome. And the whiskey they serve in Roanoke bars works.

My U11 travel baseball team swept their doubleheader by a combined score of 42-11 today. We are now 5-1 in the league and 6-2 overall. We are a dynasty. Or perhaps we were just flighted in too low a division. Either way, I’d love to close out my tenure as a baseball coach in this town with a third trophy.
