Yeah, That's Right. My Name's Yauch.

This is new to me, though I suspect some of you may have seen it. Adam Yauch wrote and directed this, well, it's hard to describe. But it's juvenile, and stupid, and hilarious. And perfect.

saw this in a yauch essay on pitchfork. i love it immensely:

The Beastie Boys are ultimately a celebration of friendship. You find people you care about and who care about you, and you make a community with them. The Beasties, both as a group and as individuals, embodied this ideal.

The Beasties cut across multiple listening audiences. It is awesome to see all the comments as an influence from an extremely diverse group of musicians. RIP MCA
