Thanks to Palladia, the best HD channel I don't get to enough, I was able to find and record this documentary earlier this month. It is tremendously entertaining on many levels.
Oh yeah, I think there's basketball on today too. Go get drunk and watch some. Thanks to a genius sales guy at my company, I will be at a "client event" at a bar in midtown. This event features pitchers of beer and fried appetizers and starts at 12:30. Good times.

"to be honest, he's fookin' jaysus christ". awesome. and dave grohl continues to strike me as a very cool cat. i think we need to show him more gtb love.
Synopsis of the documentary: Lemmy spends his time drinking Jack and coke and smoking cigarettes. He appears to do this all the time every day. He also likes to watch Family Guy, play video games and Trivia Whiz, play slot machines, play oldies songs (Elvis, Buddy Holly era stuff), pose for pictures for fans and custom design his cowboy boots.
It's also impossible to tell how (if at all) financially comfortable he is. His lifestyle is so simple and his values are so simple that it's a guess if he lives in a tiny Sunset Strip apartment b/c of convenience or a limited budget.
The documentary is awesome. Watch it.
Yep. I'm sold. I will watch and be somewhat envious of Lemmy's life.
If anyone has recommendations for Louisville, let me know.
Leaving...
teej, i think louisville should watch lemmy's documentary.
also, unexpected daydrinking is the best kind.
I let him know your suggestion.
i know you've all been wondering about my absence this week. don't worry, i've completed my "F" license course and i will never do any kind of adult education class again.
i'm very upset that i missed "peeps" commenting.
heard john thompson on the radio over lunch (pete gillen, too - slightly different experience). the big fella complained that lots of players stop when they hear a whistle instead of trying to complete a basket. i submit to you that this phenomenon never, ever happens.
who has two thumbs and is dumb enough to take florida state to the final four?
>this guy<
Uh oh...I certainly don't have the Seminoles losing this early.
Pettitte?
Speaking of foolish ... Norfolk State is tied at the half.
Missouri better not lose this early in the tournament. They are too much fun to watch.
Don't like Mizzou's body language. They are overreacting to every turnover/call that goes against them, like they have no confidence they are going to pull this out.
This Norfolk St/Mizzou game...awesome.
WOW. Door left open...
These commercials are bullshit.
I'm calling that if Pressey gets the ball he nails it. Guy's got stones.
Someone needs to get Marv a phonetic spelling of Norfolk
He'll have a little more time to learn how to pronounce it.
Unfreakingbelievable. I'm totally blaming the GTB curse(note my comments last night re: WVU & Mizzou).
Go Buckeyes!
Watching without HD, Sager's suit looks like it might be made of rattlesnake.
Frank Haith, I believe that is karma, sir, for your unscrupulous ways at The U.
Well, Mark, that kind of opened a path for Florida, I would say...
What curse? I called this upset and rob called me foolish. Plaid with stripes foolish to be exact.
Nice work, zman. You're a zvengali.
Wow, Kenny, Chuck, Greg, and Greg can't agree on how to pronounce "Norfolk" either.
Florida looked pretty damn good.
in punishment for my lack of wisdom, i shall wear plaid with stripes tomorrow.
My response to TJ & Mayhugh's comments about Florida: Lalalalalalala!!! I can't hear you!!!
Ha.
Vinny from Jersey Shore, Willie Randolph, Edie Falco and a guy from The Eagles are the Knicks' celeb row features tonight. Not exactly a murderers' row.
Oh my Lord, Lehigh's cheerleaders are unattractive.
This Lehigh-Duke game has the same feel of the Bucknell-Kansas game from a few years ago.
And by that you mean it feels like homely engineering school cheerleaders?
as great as this duke/lehigh game is, the way basketball games end is retarded.
most popular upset in history? other than usa/ussr?
It's bedlam in Norfolk, boys. Nobody down here saw this coming except the guys who played the game. I love this shit.
and zman. zman saw it.
One of the bad losses that helped keep Drexel out of the tournament was to Norfolk State. Life is amusing.
Notre Dame is really starting to overthink this game. A lot of extraneous passes in the last several minutes. They've let Xavier keep it close.
Outdoor day drinking? Don't mind if I do.
