All it took was our pal rob being blocked to get the better half of the greatest fictional radio program in the world on the twitter machine...welcome zman (furthermore known as @rabbit_angstrom)...Could you seriously be more of a douchey hipster with that twitter handle? Jesus man, even I read that book. And I hate the reading.
Anyway, moving on, college hoops is king...and the ACC/Big Ten challenge is occurring over the next two nights (UVA's upset of MN last night ignored). So, 'cause I'm lazy, I clipped a preview of tonight's match-ups for ya...Sue me espn...

wait, you copy/pasted that whole thing? you're gonna get us sued.
ReplyDeleteor at least add a nugget on tomorrow's wrens/howard matchup.
ReplyDeleteIt is more than one book The Teej. However, it is still very hipster douchie.
ReplyDeleteFor somebody that complains about Boston almost everytime I see him, the Zman likes his NewEnglandy references.
You settle down pal...we have sev eral lawyers on staff to prevent issue, yes?
ReplyDeleteI tried...and apparently failed. How 'bout someone else write a fucking post? A novel concept I know.
ReplyDeleteOh man, @eamonnbrennan is gonna be pissed.
ReplyDeleteWait, u know actual twitter feeds?
ReplyDeleteSo confused.
zman was already taken so I went with my lowlife mug name from the Lower Depths. Rabbit Angstrom lived in western PA (Mount Judge to be exact), not New England.
ReplyDeleteSorry rob. I failed at copyright laws. Zman and marls save us...
ReplyDeleteAnd Updike?
ReplyDeleteUpdike was from western PA too, although he lived in MA in his dotage.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe we're recycling content from ESPN. I have an idea for a (lengthy) post that I won't be able to get to for a few days. This suspenseful lead-up will undoubtedly fall flat in the end.
"Holiday" really is in a car ad. I was wrong. As usual.
ReplyDeleteOnly half wrong. It's in a Tommy ad too. Tim Hardaway Jr. plays for Michigan? Wow, don't think he's going to fit in all that well with the liberals in Ann Arbor. Though maybe he's more enlightened than his terribly underrated (basketball wise) father. And that FSU-OSU prediction was waaaay off. As someone who watched the Buckeyes take apart a pretty decent Florida team, I feel confident in saying OSU is a top 10, maybe top 5 team. IMO, they're the best team in a very strong Big Ten. Sullinger's a beast.
ReplyDeletePretty great that the CBB gods gave us Mizzou-GTown tonight too.
ReplyDeleteBlack Sheep's "The Choice is Yours" is featured in a Kia ad featuring ... hiphop hamsters?
ReplyDeleteWait a minute, FSU making a comeback...sheeet.
ReplyDeleteI'm bored as shit at work. Do you assholes really need me to submit guest content?
ReplyDeleteMarls is DYING to submit guest content. I bet he has a guestie in the works.
ReplyDeleteBrooks Lopez is playing his teats off.
God Shammgod! In a Converse ad!
ReplyDeleteReally? Last I heard of God he was playing in China.
ReplyDeleteOSU-FSU is hard to watch. Begging the eternal good D or bad O question...
i find it really annoying that espn's ticker doesn't capitalize the 'ers' in 76ers.
ReplyDeletecarry on.
iowa must really suck to lose to wake
ReplyDeleteI respectfully disagree with your assessment of Wake Forest's basketball team.
ReplyDeleteBan him, Rob. Do it.
ReplyDeleteWhat's the fridge life of leftover turkey? I brine the fuck out of it, so that probably gives it some extra time, but I caved and chucked a wing and a drumstick tonight. Five days sounded like a good time to part ways. The apple pie, on the other hand, continues to get it done.
ReplyDeleteThe Knicks will start December with as many wins as the Miami Heat. And that's after they started the season 3-8.
ReplyDeleteIf the playoffs started today, the Cavs would be the 8 seed with a gaudy .412 winning percentage.
ReplyDeleteI can not wait for Thursday night. I wonder how many batteries we'll be able to see flying through the air on our HD TVs.
