The only thing that could've possibly made this clip more entertaining is if the Mensa member ski jumping off his roof was backed over (repeatedly) by that truck.

Dedicated to the premise that life would be better if we all took ourselves a little less seriously.

Slooooooooooow day...
the anthony grant to florida thing is a pisser for the caa. on the one hand, it's good for the tribe, but on the other, can't be good for the conference. grant wasn't staying long, anyway, but a year or two more would've been great for the conference's visibility.
I like Billy D, I really do, but I wonder if he looked long and hard at this list before he bolted. It is not pretty:
Recent college coaches who have jumped to the pros,
with his NBA record there:
•Mike Montgomery, Stanford
Golden State, 2004-06, 68-96
•Leonard Hamilton, Miami
Washington, 2000-01, 19-63
•Lon Kruger, Florida
Atlanta, 2000-03, 69-122
•Tim Floyd, Iowa State
Chicago, 1999-2001, 49-190
•Rick Pitino, Kentucky
Boston, 1997-2001, 102-146
•John Calipari, UMass
New Jersey, 1996-99, 72-114
yep, but all of those guys save maybe montgomery landed on their feet in college. and billy's got $27.5m guaranteed smackers to cushion the fall if things don't work out.
Right move for BD. This was a special team for Florida that made Donovan look better. It was not long ago that people thought Bobby Gonzalez was a better coach, especially after the Jaspers fisted the Gators in the first round of the NCAA.
By jumping to the pros, Billy picks up a big payday with little risk. Even if he fails at the NBA level he will be able to jump back to college and likely land at a "basketball school" where they will give him the keys to the athletic department. That is an opportunity he would never get at Florida where the head football coach will always call the shots.
How bout this...Billy Donovan is a daft prick. And I'm uncomfortable with how many times a week he appears to get his hair cut. I mean that guy's ducks are in a fucking row, alphabetical-by-height in two-by-two cover formation...Sooooo anti-Gheorghe.
Here's hoping he wins fewer than 30 games next season.
"Like many others, I'm looking forward to Game 5 solely because of LeBron. Like many others, I want him to shift into fifth gear, hush the crowd, rip Detroit's heart out and make the Vivid Video face after everything's said and done. Like many others, I will be disappointed if this doesn't happen."
I'd say SportsGuy got was he was looking for.
and how.
The Washington Nationals continue to amaze me...4-3 winners in 10 over Jake Peavy and the Padres. Just please fire Bowden.
Nice Eric Mangini cameo on the Sopranos...
