Fashion is Dumb: Even worse than the song "Christmas Shoes" edition

Sir, I want to buy these shoes for my mama, please
It's Christmas eve and these shoes are just her size
Could you hurry, sir, daddy says there's not much time
You see she's been sick for quite a while
And I know these shoes would make her smile
And I want her to look beautiful, if mama meets Jesus tonight

Shut up. Your song is stupid. Your shoes are stupid. BUT...not as stupid as these "shoes":

WTF ARE THESE?!?!

File under "Nobody Cares About Your Fantasy Team": I was down 44 points in my first round fantasy playoff game going into last night. Julio Jones put 47.

Love you, Julio.

I read Charles Pierce's latest whine/rant about college football and was stunned to learn that Derrick Henry rushed for over 11,000 yards in high school. I googled his high school stats and was more stunned (stunneder?) to learn that he rushed for 11,982 yards and 153 TD in 47 games. How is that possible?

4261 yards and 55 TD his senior year, only 13 games. Insane.

Henry and Kelvin Taylor BOTH broke the national HS career rushing record during their senior seasons (same year).

i was involved in the season's highest-scoring fantasy game in my league this week. i had cutler, jordy nelson, and ty hilton. my opponent had ryan, le'veon bell, and eddie lacy. i didn't win.

Henry rushed for almost 1000 yards more than Taylor despite the fact that somehow Taylor racked up 500 varsity yards as eighth-grader.
