"Dickhead catches cricket ball with face"...though can we really be sure the guy is a dickhead? Did he deserve to take one off the melon? I guess we'll never know. Enjoy this filler while we await the recap of Rob and Whit's journey to the Verizon Center to see Gordon Sumner and his ensemble butcher their hits of yesteryear.

What is wrong with this kid?
A 17-year-old Washington area high school football player allegedly used a knife to cut the hand of at least one opponent during the teams' postgame handshake Friday night. According to Cpl. Jimmy Robinson, spokesman for Montgomery County police, the student carried a folding knife in his hand as the teams lined up and shook hands after Magruder's 55-7 victory. Robinson said the player attempted to cut at least one other player. -- Washington Post
