Wait, the NHL All-Star Game is on a Wednesday night? Its like Bettman is trying to make the league as big a joke as possible.

I'll be watching South Park re-runs...

If you're watching a rerun of "What's Happening!!!", is that redundant?

VCU continuing to make me look good...

And Gary Neal had 36 last night in Towson's thrashing of Delaware.

tribe blew a 17-point lead last night to lose to odu. same old sorry-ass tribe.

No way this goes smoothly:

Van Halen have reunited with original frontman David Lee Roth for the first time in 20 years.

The band are set to announce details of a 40-date tour this summer.

The reunited group will feature Eddie Van Halen's son Wolfgang on bass, replacing original bassist Michael Anthony, plus drummer Alex Van Halen.

Rob, this is getting weird.

maybe van halen, the police, crowded house, and rage against the machine can get together on a massive 'reunited, and it feels so good' tour. i'd pay to see that, if only to watch the comedy ensue when fans of those bands mixed.

Remember when the fans of Salt N' Pepa, Primus, Naught By Nature, and Ugly Kid Joe all came together for a beautifully harmonized race riot in Daytona? MTV ≠ MENSA.

rob said...

that's exactly what i had in mind when i posted about the comedy value of the 'reunion' tour. that mtv thing was an unintentional comedy tour de force.

This sounds like a very good way to officially start the college hoops season each year:

An idea is being kicked around for "The First Four," a season-opening tournament that would be held at that season's Final Four site as a sort of dry run for the main event. The idea would be to convene four big-time programs (say, Kentucky, Duke, Kansas and UCLA) and draw big crowds and TV ratings.

Isn't the NHL still on strike?!?

I'm surprised that somebody hasn't already bitched about Clemson getting the business end of that clock snafu call against Duke.

Forget the homer clock job, can we discuss how fucking horrible that pass was? I mean, really, could he possibly have thrown a worse pass?

Anonymous said...

That pass was as bad as it gets. Boht passer and receiver were basically unguarded and about 8 feet away from each other. Paulus didn't exactly make a great adjustment to the pass either though.

Also, I'm really tired of hearing how talented Jsoh McRoberts is. We get it, he's big and skilled. He's still overrated and lacking one defining skill. I wouldn't touch him with a ten foot pole in the draft.

TJ,

Since I'm clearly an idiot, do you think you could put some links on my blog if I gave you the neccessary info? I'd totally do it if I wasn't so damn dumb.

rob said...
