Today is the 30th anniversary of the Challenger disaster. I vividly remember watching that. I was in 6th grade and they wheeled a TV into our room so we could watch during the morning or lunch. The teachers were especially excited, given one of their own was on the shuttle. Everybody kinda freaked out when it happened.
I live 20-30 minutes directly south of Cape Canaveral so we can see shuttle/rocket launches vividly by standing outside. My elementary school would bring us outside to watch shuttle launches. I stood on the playground and watched the Challenger explode. Didn't really know exactly what happened right away but quickly discovered that.
tribe's connor burchfield entered tonight as the nation's leader in three-point percentage. the nation's. he's six for six in the first half.
'course, the rest of the team is a combined 10 for 32 from the floor and they aren't defending very well, so they're only up 4 at the break against a bad, bad delaware team.
burchfield missed both of his shots in the second half (jinx!), but the rest of the team was lights out, going 15-24 over the same span (reverse jinx!).
burchfield entered the evening making 58.1% of his threes. and then he went six for seven. sheesh.

Teej - sorry just saw your post earlier. I guess the means I would hang out with KP 67% of the time. Dinner for Schmucks was straight garbage.

Rand Paul just reenacted the "fuck yo couch" sketch using Ted Cruz as the couch.
Big win for the Terps tonight. March Madness is gonna be fun. Lots of parity and lots of non-freshmen leading teams.
