ReplyDeleteanyone a little put off by boeheim's reaction to the bernie fine suspension? i get loyalty, but coming out swinging against an alleged child molestation victim seems a bit tone deaf, to put it mildly.

ReplyDeleteReally? In 35 years of working and travelling together he never went to Fine's hotel room once? I predict that Boeheim's deposition won't go well.
Legal question regarding the recent outbreak of abuse to those well versed in the subject: why don't the laws protect the identity of both the accuser AND the accused in these types of sensitive cases - at least until there's a conviction? Wouldn't it make sense that this might encourage victims to come forward more readily and at the same time protect those who may actually be innocent during the mud-slinging phase?
