In case you missed this last night, Orlando Magic manchild Dwight Howard beat the Spurs with an unbelievable dunk (over Tim Duncan). It's the first game-winning NBA dunk since Jerry "8 Day Rental" Stackhouse beat Dallas in 2002 (I actually remember that play). One last note on the double-double machine that is Dwight Howard:
In his last three games, Howard is making 89% of his FG attempts (33 of 37). According to Elias, that's the highest % for any NBA baller (not named Wilt) over a 3 game period, ever.

bit of a correction - howard's 3-game total is the best by any player not named wilt chamberlain. wilt beat that mark *6 times* in his career. that's insane.

That was fucking awesome. HUGE win for a banged up Magic team. I was screaming in my house all by myself.
Watching Howard play on a nightly basis is easily one of the better things going in my fan life. He's a once in a generation athlete and I'll take him over Greg Oden every day of the week and twice on Sundays.
How about a little love for Josh Heytvelt getting popped for ganja AND mushrooms? Shattering the Gonzaga stereotype while simultaneously reinforcing those of the Pacific Northwest. Well played young man.
