Throwback Saturday

Just minding my business on the Twitter this afternoon, eating some lunch, when @JerryBeach73 dropped a Living Colour reference into my Mentions. And from there, down a rabbit hole. Do enjoy.

Saw Living Colour at the Boathouse in '89. Top 5 shows all time.

How old does my daughter have to be before I can send her to boarding school?

This VW commercial with Simon & Garkinfel's America--it made me cry. That's some Don Draper magic.

Squeaky, you rooting for Gormley in the Derby?

Wedding and pictures done just in time for the Derby. I'm just about off duty and ready to change out of my shitty tux shoes and put on my Oliver's Grill retro true blues to go with this grey tux.

A car bearing a German marque, powered by an engine manufactured in Mexico or Hungary, named after a Titan from Greek mythology. America!

How come no one ever aims their bullets at Captain America's ankles? Why does everyone shoot at his shield?

Hi Rob! I found a Stevie Ray Vaughan doc on my cable box. I am happily falling down that rabbit hole.

Stevie Ray Vaughan did a whole lot of drugs.

Marathon wedding weekend over (we also had a first communion party/reception to attend today). I'm sitting on my couch for the first time since Thursday night. Having the next two days off couldn't be more crucial right now.

Also, my brother in law and his friends smoke a SHIT TON of weed. One of brought over some Pineapple Express level contraption yesterday pre wedding. Three hash oil dipped blunts all going through the same smoke source at the same time. Set off the smoke alarm at his house. I passed.
