The Test Episode 6 . . . Salt Water Stuff

On the latest episode of The Test, I ask some questions related to the beach. The ladies perform admirably at times, but also disappoint me.

In an upcoming episode, there will be some audio from T.J. and Jerry, who I recorded on the way to OBFT XXII. Unfortunately, it sounds like we are travelling in a open railroad box car, not Jerry's coupe, so the audio quality is a little rough. I should be able to salvage some of it though, because Jerry said some smart shit and T.J. said some funny shit (how stereotypical).

Anyway, play along at home, enjoy it, and tell me how you scored.

I'm going to guess many of you are not familiar with Rich Homie Quan's hit 'Flex'. Look it up. It's terrible. In a terribly awesome way.

Now watch this. Just do it.

Mad Cobra wants his props.

I will still blast Mad Cobra's 'Flex'.

When the wife and I honeymooned in Tortola we ended up in a local bar that was jamming dancehall reggae and we thoroughly impressed the locals with our knowledge of Mad Cobra, Mad Lion, Buju Bantin, etc.

Super Cat is the don dada. Everyone at W&M mocked/hated on my love of Buju Banton, Shaka Demus, dancehall in general. Apparently those guys have nothing on Dave Matthews.

Chaka Demus was a buster. It was all about Pliers.

Greg showed up in town today. He's here for the week so it's safe to assume I'll be drunk when commenting on here for most of that time.

just finished a spartan sprint. i've fully earned the drunk i'm about to tie on.

My folks took the kid tonight so the wife and I went to dinner at one of our favorite spots. Shrimp and marscipone grits, truffle fries with aged cheddar cheese sauce and oxtail and foie gras bacon with smoked peaches. So damn good.

Dayumm
I had cheese and crackers

Oxtail soup is a bizarre culinary crossover of Hungarian and Jamaican cuisine. Always good.

Another place around here does poutine with oxtail. I'm always down for oxtail.

Proud of my little buddy Rob. He had a great reason not to come out to FlynnFest, but he came out, carried our short game (insert lame joke) including a bad-assed chip-in, and celebrated the memory of our beloved lost friend. Kudos.

it was my pleasure, brother. to quote the great mr. kq (who has a little bit of flynn in him, to be sure), it was a stone groove.

and at the moment, i have bruises in places that i didn't know i had.

The best dad ever just showed his 7 and 6 y/o boys Jaws (the basic cable version).

Worst dad? Same dad.

My parents let me watch The Shining at a similar age. In retrospect they had to be drunk. But I still turned out kind of ok.

my parents let me read jaws as an 11 year-old while we were on cape cod. sharks still scare the shit out of me. fuckers.

I saw Trading Places in the theater with my grandmother when I was 9. I'm still scared of the commodities market and large bare breasts.

6.5 of 7! i totally seem educated. do i get extra points for also choosing 'ocean man' as one of my songs?

i saw jaws on laserdisc at my neighbors when i was seven or eight. yikes.

You saw Ween? I think not -- Gene or Dean?

Why would the proprietor of a brothel involve the police in a murder in his whorehouse?

rob said...

i assume that's a rhetorical question, z

I have no idea why anything is happening on True Detective.
