Good and welfare. Two interesting things happened to me at the Marathon today.
1. I was deemed important enough to have a ham radio guy shadow me in case I needed to contact someone and regular communications were down at the Start. Poor guy stood next to me for 5 hours as I explained to runners how to the exit the village to get to the start.
2. The BAA doesn't allow bag check at the start anymore. Which is a pain in the ass for the volunteers as there is always at least 60 people who try to drop their clothes, wallets and cell phones for pick up at the end of the race. Adn we unfortunately have to tell them sorry but we can't take their bags. So a blind guy showed up with his cane, which he told me was his fault, and his guide runner but wanted to bag check the cane. Thankfully I didn't say, 'Well didn't you ready all the notices about no bag check" which would have been a new low. So I got cussed out by him while politely telling him no dice. It's fun being a volunteer.
Fat guy alert! I will be on CNBC for a couple seconds this morning helping Gulfport Energy ring the bell for the Nasdaq (which isn't a physical exchange, but that's besides the point).

Would it have been better if you just took his cane?
Is "taking his cane" a euphemism?
We could have but it would have been thrown away. Then the BAA would have had to deal with the issue.

Swarthy guy, yellow tie. Get some!
What time?
are you wearing your hoka's?
930. No Hokas. Wife told me I was clapping out of sync, which made me look like I had no rhythm. You missed nothing.
so you have rhythm?
Yes. Yes I do. And it's a dancer. It's a soul companion. You can feel it everywhere.
The rhythm is gonna get you.
To the beat of the rhythm of the night, dance until the morning light.
Forget about the worries on your mind, you can leave them all behind.
yikes!
Sad day around here. A local soccer legend (as a player and coach) was laid to rest. http://on.flatoday.com/1GfXOvJ
since his 0-fer debut, kris bryant is 7 for 13 with three doubles and 6 ribbies. decent.
Tough to argue against the early returns on Epstein's tenure in Chicago.
I think I got bad lox spread this morning.
Do tell, Zman!
Nausea headache dizziness. Maybe I'm pregnant.
Bills got hosed by the schedule makers.
