The Only Place

Here's a little lightness and fluff on a heavy goddamn day. As fucked up as American politics is (and will be for the foreseeable future), why would you live anywhere else, indeed.

I can't believe election day is not a national holiday. I want to go home and watch CNN.

it is kind of f'd up ya know? if there is one day that should be a nat'l holiday, this is it for a boatload of reasons. have been saying that since moby dick was a tadpole. it makes no f'ing sense to me when half the country has colombus day off. for realz.

I'm at the Pep Boys looking for Manny, Moe, or Jack to finish up my 5th new tire in 3 months. Taking forever. On the plus side, I'm in the waiting area catching up on Days of Our Lives. Seems like just about everyone in the cast from 1990 is still/back on the show. And in a bit part, there's a priest played by Father Mulcahy. Typecast.

Of course, they could be airing election coverage on this TV, but why would they do something like that?
