    you'd like this tuesday if you were a teacher at my school. we used no snow days this year, so i am officially on spring break. and my wife and kids have to go to school for the next two days. and i won the ncaa pool i was in (despite saving the wrong picks on the computer . .. the wrong picks turned out right). a very good tuesday.

    A guy I know who's my age, lives in an adjacent neighborhood, and plays in my poker league, just got named as the publisher of our newspaper. (His predecessor was just confirmed as the Deputy Secretary of Housing and Urban Development.) Kinda feels like I haven't been productive enough in my 41 years.

    Eh, he's a really good dude and I wish him the best.
