(* - In some circles, this is listed as Hawley-Smoot, but we choose the alternative because there’s no way Hawley’s descendants are anywhere near as entertaining as Fred Smoot.)

That's a sex machine to all the chicks?
REICH!
Ya damn right!
Who is the man that would risk his neck to focus the nation's attention on the need for American workers to adapt to the new economy?
REICH!
Can you dig it?
Who's the cat that won't cop out
When Slick Willie’s junk is hanging about?
REICH!
Right On!
They say this cat Reich is a bad (little) mother
SHUT YOUR MOUTH!
I'm talkin' 'bout Reich.
THEN WE CAN DIG IT!
He's a complicated man
But no one understands him but his woman and Vaclav Havel and a few Harvard-educated economists.
ROBERT REICH!
Robert Reich, bad mother...shut your mouth.
Bite me, Randy Newman.
Isaac Hayes would be proud...and thoroughly confused.
ReplyDeleteSame as he is about Scientology.
ReplyDeleteRobert Reich is the smallest member yet of the "Bite Me, Randy Newman" chronicles. Back when he was my boss (there may have been a few slots between our two posts), I confirmed that Secretary Reich was, in fact, a good bit tinier than [eventual Gheorghe founder] Rob. I'm not sure he topped 5'.
ReplyDeleteI think Costas and Pedroia have you beat, though, little buddy.
reich is listed at 4' 10" in the playbook
ReplyDeleteor program, whatever
ReplyDeleteThe Reich playbook is only slightly more confusing than the Al Saunders playbook.
ReplyDeletewikipedia lists costas at 5'7", which is totally bogus. he is, in my drunken recollection, slightly - very slightly - taller than me. pedroia's listed by the sox at 5'9", which is a howler. i am wlling to stipulate that he's taller than i am, but that leaves a lot of room below the 5'9" mark.
ReplyDeletethis is quite amusing:

"Inevitabre! Things are inevitabrey going to change! Goddamnit, open your fucking ears!"
ReplyDeleteSEOUL, South Korea (AP) -- North Korean leader Kim Jong Il called himself an "Internet expert" during summit talks with South Korea's president this week, a news report said Friday.
It's time for me to watch that movie again.
ReplyDeleteDefending said liberty today was quite time consuming, but I'd like to offer my thanks for the fine tribute. And now, off to Cap Grille to drink in honor of my hard travails for your tax dollars.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fucking kick to the nuts...
ReplyDeleteyo nice blog, we should exchange links. I'm at www.onthebuzzer.com. Let me know if you're down.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful day outside . . . good day for watching college football.
ReplyDeleteAlcoa fantastic finish in the CAA -- Towson's last minute-rally fell short last Saturday, but a great 14-yard TD catch in the corner of the end zone as time expired won today's game for them against Richmond. Comcast chose wisely in choosing to air this one.
Delaware made it interesting but couldn't come all the way back against NH; UD was 5-0 coming in, while New Hampshire was winless in-conference.
JMU held off a scrappy Northeastern squad. They look like they'll go deep into the I-AA playoffs, sad to say.
And your William & Mary Tribe plays at Villanova tonight at 6pm. Tickets still available, I'm guessing.
yeah, not so much for tribe fans to get excited about. 63-24 wildcats. oof.
ReplyDeleteMan, how drunk do you think the Stanford Cardinal got last night?
ReplyDeleteI need it to be 7:37pm already...
ReplyDeleteit's a great time of year, isn't it?
ReplyDeletei can't believe i have to wait until friday.
Yes, at least for another day...
