Happy Thanksgiving Gheorghies. This Gheorghie has a lot to be thankful for this year, including having this little corner of the electronic world to share with all of you. Thanks for the witty commentary, legal analysis, sometimes thoughtful insight, filler, general buffoonery, and for being a place that always offers a smile even on days when life in the real world is not so hot. 

Here a a few Thanksgiving clips you can watch while avoiding political debate with uncle Ed. 

First up is Alf helping host the 1989 Thanksgiving day parade. Watch everyone’s favorite Melmacian talk about the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band and make jokes about Ishtar and Willard Scott’s weight. 

Staying in the 80’s, we have a very Cheers-y Thanksgiving. Rob and I are planning on recreating this for his in-laws enjoyment.

Giving Thanks

We could do what lesser thinkers do on this day and spew forth a litany of things for which we're thankful. Since lesser thinkers are almost always harder workers, that option's never really on the table for us. Instead, we offer a clip-filled but no less hearty thanks for one of our favorite things: rock babes. We're very thankful for them.

Back by popular demand...one of the greates WKRP clips ever. I ran this post five years ago on Thanksgiving Eve...

YouTube, that's what. At this time last year I could only describe in words what I considered the greatest Thanksgiving episode in all of television history. Now, thanks to that glorious website, I can actually provide the clip to prove it...I give you five minutes and forty seconds from WKRP in Cincinnati's "Turkeys Away" episode. Gordon Jump's last line is a priceless moment in sitcom history.
