Fuck Marco Rubio. Here's what he was referring to, an interview with Annapolis Capital Gazette writer Selene San Felice after she'd seen colleagues killed and feared for her life. In it, she says, “Our whole lives have been shattered. So thanks for your prayers, but I couldn’t give a fuck about them if there’s nothing else.”

I started the day with zson's first swim meet ever. He was confused and anxious so I helped him find the right lane. I then almost got in a fist fight with a coach from the other club (TR's club) who took extreme umbrage with my presence by the blocks and who nearly exploded when I rolled my eyes at him. I wish my life was so simple that the 7-and-under exhibition relay medley was the most important thing going on.

rookie mistake getting behind the blocks. been there. if you want to escalate things, go ahead and take out your camera next time and start filming while behind the blocks. that's a fun one to watch.
I DVR’d the France-Argentina match so I wouldn’t miss it when I was at the gym. Went dark on social media too. Twas worth it. That game was fun as all hell. Mbappe might be a God. This has been a thoroughly enjoyable World Cup.

There were other parents at and around the blocks; it was an exhibition relay of little little kids that didn't count towards the clubs's point totals; and other people were recording videos all day. This isn't a real swim meet or a real swim league, it's a bunch of drinking clubs with pools who get together five times in the summer to watch their kids flail away at the water.
