The Test 58: Can You?

Can you? Will you? Would you, at the very least, give it a try? Stacey breaks format this week and puts Cunningham and me on the spot. We occasionally perform admirably, but mainly humiliate ourselves.

There is also some serious debate about mnemonic devices.

Give it a shot, and see if you can.

Business lunch in my favorite restaurant. Song comes on the radio and I start bopping my head to it instinctively.

Milli Vanilli, "Girl You Know It's True"

Whoops.

Clarence, there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. Whoever actually sang the songs, they were damn good. [Girl] I'm Gonna Miss You is on my lawn-mowing play list.

whitney: ira glass and mike birbiglia stole our "millard fillmore" script premise and made a movie!

Terrible news. I love that show and McLaughlin's shtick.

i don't think i have hard copy or digital . . . god knows what format they were in. looks like the judge will just have to take our word for it in the copyright suit. zman, does this work? will they take our word for it? we wrote them in the '90's, so our word is bond.

My annual sojourn to a suite at Coors Field continues tonight. Thankfully the visiting team (Nats) features a couple players worth watching.

Big issue will be managing edible consumption with seeing straight-laced work folks.
