Sports sports sports sports . . . sports sports sports sports . . .
In honor of Stephen Curry's stupendous final shot (and record breaking performance) last night, I humbly present this week's episode of The Test. It is dedicated to all things sporting.
Stacey designed the questions to torture Cunningham, who is not a sporting fanatic. I do quite well, although I get a bit choked up when I try to express my love and joy for all things athletic. Cunningham is stupendous-- her answers sound like they are coming from an alien who has been observing wild and crazy earth culture, and doesn't quite get it.
Give it a listen, keep score, see if you can beat me, and try not to cry when Stacey mimics The Locker Room speech (which is very different in tone than Draymond Green's locker room discussion last night).

Blue & Gold Tavern gets my strongest white. Fantastic jukebox, $5 whiskey/scotch/rye. Only downside is when I burp this morning it tastes like Laphroaig.
(and semen)
where is it?
AWL on seman. Heading to Wiz game to see LeBron get worked. Oh wait he's resting. Wussy.
more evidence that steph is a unicorn: he's making 50% of his shots from beyond 30 feet this season (11 for 22). the rest of the league is making 7.9% of such shots (53 for 669). stupid.
I thought that taste was from the pickleback shot. No? It's on 7th street between 1st and 2nd.
just finished coaching another season of little kid basketball-- and should be my last, both boys will be in middle school next year and out of my purview (hopefully). celebrating with a ballast point ginger big-eye. a good one.
i can't resist these beer reviews . . . marshmallow peeps!
Pours rosy golden orange with inches of massive frothy head, even observing proper pouring technique I only got the glass about half filled before the head threatened to spill over. Magnificent clarity, pretty effervescence bubbling up from the bottom. Unexpected big hop bitterness and citrus up front with a hint of soap, biscuity malt and spices mid-palate with bitterness, ginger and soap on the finish. The glass I’m using was thoroughly clean to before drinking. Soapyness is definitely in the beer. Possibly an alkaline fault? Light- to medium-bodied with good effervescence making it easy to drink. Crisp with good acidity, hoppy astringency, but not overwhelming.
Marshmallow peeps, rosehips, strawberries, grass, and pine bouquet. Crystal clear amber, thick yellow lacy head. Ginger and yeast, dry, bitter grapefruit zest accents. Rosehip appears upon warming. Medium body, soft carbonation. I like a bit sweeter malt structure, particularly when spices or other additives are used, but this is still a wonderful beer.
Rosehip appears upon warming?
This game winner from the Spanish league is fairly ridiculous.

for the first and probably last time ever, I just sent out a proposal....to a country.
some set of balls on chris rock
He did okay. Almost impossible task. I love him mocking Jada and mentioning wanting to get in Rihanna's panties.
The merkin just got a shout-out from Jared Leto!
The merkin drop was great.
My wife loves awards shows. I have little interest beyond following it via Twitter snark. So thank God for Twitter snark.
John Oliver just torched Trump (Drumpf) brilliantly.
