The Test: Twenty Episodes!

The twentieth episode of The Test is my favorite so far: it's a festive mix of epistemology, education, ignorance, judgement, temper tantrums, and cave-hating. I hope you enjoy it, and I'll bet you won't score as well as me (or make funnier comments). Good luck.

Maybe I'll hold off on buying my Greg Hardy jersey. It might be marked down soon.

the whole hardy situation and the dallas management's reaction to it are both disgusting and of a piece with the modern nfl.

20 years since Alanis Morissette's "You Oughta Know" came out. Not long enough for me to figure how she got that torqued up about Dave Coulier.

I finally got around to taking this test and found a few things interesting.

1. Like Dave, I have no interest in astronomy (or astrology).
2. Unlike Dave, I do not turn into a petulant brat when tested on subject matter about which I know little or have no interest.
3. Like Dave, I got half-credit for several questions and I got one completely right.
3. Unlike Dave, I did not give myself a 6-out-of-7 score for my performance.
4. Cunningham's take on why she likes astronomy is interesting. I read a lot of Greek myths as a kid so maybe I should start looking at the stars in a different light.
5. I read a lot of Greek myths as a kid so I know that Apollo did not fly too close to the sun--his chariot is the sun. Icarus is the guy who made wings out of wax and feathers and flew too high.
6. Dave's God sounds like he inhaled a bunch of helium and hydrogen.

7M3 getting a little love on siriusXM lithium right now. It's also been 20 years since its major-label release as well. Wow. Some of us are old.

Its meaning "Cumbersome" and "major-label" meaning a subsidiary of Atlantic. Whatever.
