The Ghlorious Return of the Ghoogles

By now, you folks know the drill: Teej need filler, Teej go and look up what search terms have led folks to G:TB over the past few months/weeks/whatever. I'm at work way too early on this Wednesday, so I have culled through hundreds and hundreds of entries (no, seriously, I have) to provide you with the best of the best (non-Eric Roberts edition).

Before we get to the full list, would just like to point out we might be the internet's #1 destination for all things (homoerotic) Alfonso Ribeiro:
  • alfonso ribeiro
  • alfonso ribeiro bulge
  • alfonso ribeiro dead
  • alfonso ribeiro fat
  • alfonso ribeiro no shirt
  • alfonso ribeiro shirt off
  • alfonso ribeiro strong
  • alfonso ribiero shirtless
Now, without further freddy adu, your Ghoogles...

so, I guess this post wasn't as appealing as I thought it was...

Nothing is more appealing than Alfonso Ribeiro.

I'll bet the guy looking to buy an ice cream truck was a little disappointed.

I know these are sorted alphabetically, but you know damn well that the searches on "can pubic hair increase vaginal temperature" and "chewbacca pullover" were related beyond their alphabetic proximity.

T.J. said...

actually, if you notice, initially they are sorted by the amount of times the search was used...THEN they become alphabetical

zman said...

Then they go plaid.

just let go with a long-stifled fart, seconds before a pretty woman sat down in the chair next to me in the lounge in which I'm hanging out. smooth.

my idiocy and absentmindedness apparently know no bounds. placing my fate in the hands of tsa in a few minutes. trying to get through security without a drivers license. film at 11.

zman said...

Random idiocy. This is why they fired you from the band.

ironic, no?

Tough day for Livestrong.

By the way, I am suing Mr. Truck for touring under the name Random Idiots. I am the only one who can use that name. Well, and Hightower, since he pretty much steals everything, anyway.

I am also suing Rob for touring under the name Random Idiot Family & Friends, because that compromises the integrity of my stage tour, and unsuspecting fans might go to the wrong show. It's Mike Love week!

Rob, good luck with TSA. They tend to take aim at little guys, though -- you wee ones can hide ANYWHERE, so you make good spies and terrorists.

tsa handled things with aplomb. snuck me right through.

More Mike Love Week. This ridiculous bit just in from the newswire...

In a symbolic gesture to Lake Tahoe's first roundabout, Beach Boy Mike Love and local dignitaries celebrated how locals and visitors can "Get Around" North Shore's intersection of Mount Rose Highway and State Route 28 at the dedication, Oct. 17.

“For these past 50 years you could say that I ‘Get Around,’" laughed Mike Love, lead singer and co-owner of the Beach Boys. “With the music I created along with the other Beach Boys
[Ed. Note: Are you fucking kidding me???"] it has taken me all over the world. If you ask me it’s pretty cool that thanks to the efforts of a whole lot of good people, I get a Roundabout – it’s beautiful.”

At which point he was shot in the chest by a 12-Gauge 18" Remington 870 Marine Magnum Pump Shotgun 5012, 3" Chamber, Cylinder Choke with Nickel Finish.

did i say "random idiots" was going on tour? i meant to say that my new band, "the stupid stochastics" is going on tour.

we're playing all the hits: "oh melinda," redfinger," "the culvert," doug and joanie (and cha chi)" "hey flynn" etc.

Dave said...

sorry -- i've gone beyond the "inside joke."

rob said...

well played

Joanie and Cha Chi was the episode where the Happy Days gang went to Shanghai.

Well after Fonzie took his water skis and jumped the shark, of course.

Klosterman's latest Grantland piece is good, as usual.

Very oddly, as I was reading through it about this strange documentary The Shining gets, I was thinking whether they could do a parody of sorts with with Dumb & Dumber or maybe Dazed and Confused. Paragraphs later, Klosterman writes, "The movie I've watched the most times is Dazed and Confused, but it doesn't work for these purposes." Whoa.

(And nice choice, dude. Woodabeen does love them redheads.)

Just getting to the Ghoogles list, one of my favorite features on GTB.

TJ, are you SURE you're not making these up?

Clarence said...

Zman, you know/like "This Head I Hold" by Electric Guest? Has a very Mayer Hawthorne-y sound to it.

zman said...

I haven't heard it but I'll check it out. While we're making quick album suggestions, "Open Your Heart" by The Men deserves your attention. I'm a bit late with this but don't hold my tardiness against the album.

big gulps, huh?

As the Yankees stand on the precipice of elimination, let's reflect on this:
