It's that most wonderful time of the year yet again, folks: the faux holiday known as Gheorghemas*. And, as in years past, Day One is late and Teej-centric, because, well, it's me.

*Is it really the 9th year we've done this? I'm not gonna do the math, and the intern went to work for Axios, so we're just gonna go with 9th year of this bigly holiday.
