This town needs...an enema. Or at least, this blog needs a refresh. And so I offer you this live version of "The Theme from Phineas and Ferb" by Bowling for Soup, complete with live action Doofenshmirtz. The performance comes from a set at the Warped Tour in Washington, DC last month.

ReplyDeleteIn my next life, I'd like to come back as a squirrel
ReplyDeleteRIP Hulk Hogan.
ReplyDeleteOff topic - Rob, is your email the same?
ReplyDeletei have a bunch of emails, donna. i’m sure whatever you have will work.
ReplyDeleteLook at Mr. Fancypants with all of his email addresses. YOU THINK YOU'RE BETTER THAN US, ROB?!
ReplyDeleteThanks!

ReplyDeletetrinity rodman courtside to watch ben shelton
ReplyDeleteShould've added that you should have the message then.
ReplyDeleteTeej made me guffaw. Again.

ReplyDeleteRootsy might be interested in knowing Danimal and fam are going to see Dan Tyminski perform at the re-opening of the recently refurbished Ponte Vedra Concert Hall next Friday. Show #1 upon said reopening. Excaated.
ReplyDeleteGod bless those South Park idiots
ReplyDeleteDan T is a good one, Danimal. Hope you and your gang enjoy. We’re on the road home from moving our kid to Cincinnati. I was hoping to leave by 10 today. We finally left around five.
ReplyDeleteTravelling across WV is never easy, but we just crossed in and are hoping for smooth sailing. Lotsa hills and curves ahead.
Straight'nin' the curve,
ReplyDeleteFlat'nin' the hills.
Someday the mountain might get Rootsy, but the law never will.
Hills and curves are wondrous on a woman. On a West Virginny roadway, less so.
ReplyDeleteWe opted to take the longer but slightly less curvy route home. I’m enjoying passenger life, but I think I’m about to get the call up for the last 90 minutes.
ReplyDeleteOut on a school night again to see F1. Later than I like to be out but worth. Highly enjoyable movie. Even the wife, who cares nor knows nothing about F1, thoroughly enjoyed it.
ReplyDeleteTo echo Whit, South Park season premiere worth a look, if only for sheer juvenile outrageous-ness of what Parker and Stone got away with.
ReplyDeletechuck mangione's smooth jazz stylings gonna great hogan at the gates, right before they tell hulk he's in the wrong place.
ReplyDeletedonna, turns out you may have actually sent a message to an email i *don't* have any longer. try batogato15 at gmail dot com.
ReplyDeletesun soaked day at the dc open for your boy. watched tennis from noon to nine - started with brandon nakashima's win over cam norrie, saw emma raducanu play naomi osaka, caught francis tiafoe's win, some of leylah fernandez's upset of jess pegula, ben shelton's impressive straight-setter over gabriel diallo (with bonus trinity rodman sighting), raducanu's doubles win with elena rybakina, and the first set of taylor fritz's win over matteo arnaldi.
ReplyDeletein between, surprisingly good (and not wildly overpriced) food at the vip lounge ('cause that's how i roll), excellent margaritas at mi campo's activation, shitloads of water, and a random luka garza sighting. good times.
Re-sent email Rob. That's address I'd used, so not sure what happened. Maybe in spam/junk folder? Anyhow, re-sent. Your tennis day sounds awesome!!
ReplyDeleterob, maybe your assistant can find donna's email.
ReplyDeleterootsy - it gets better. i'm playing golf w/dan t next friday morning.
The G:TB intern is combing through all of Rob’s email accounts to find the elusive Donna email. It shall be found.
ReplyDeleteit’s been found!
ReplyDeleteusing the little know @squirrel.edu account again, eh?
ReplyDeleteand it’ll have a gtb payoff. very exciting!
ReplyDeleteAnd there was much rejoicing.
ReplyDeleteDanimal is a real go-getter, eh? Dan T was living around here when "O Brother Where art Thou?" was released, so he did a fair amount of appearances then as the 'voice of Clooney'.
ReplyDeleteGlad to see that his solo career has legs enough that he didn't have to jump at the chance to go on tour with Allison Krauss.
