ReplyDeleteNot to ignore the current post topic, but you can't say enough about how weird the Danzig video for Mother is. The song is way bad-ass, and the video couldn't be lamer. It starts with a homosexual vibe (shirtless guitarist) and then just becomes strange, as Glenn Danzig's mug stares at you like a cross between a young Roman Polanski and Ashton Kutcher. Any generic late 80's metal imagery would've sufficed. His shadow face just looks like they're trying too hard. Another funny note is that the video is pretty timeless, with one enormous exception. it's black and white and the guitarist and Glenn look pretty generic. But then they pan to the metal sluts. The girls look like cast-offs from Warrant's Cherry Pie video. Hilarious and ridiculous.
