This morning I was reading an article on Ars about research into spiders and the patterns they use to create their webs. And it jogged my memory of this youtube gem about spiders and drugs.

wish i had more time, because there's some good sportsing tonight. usmnt vs mexico in a big world cup qually and tribe men's hoops home opener against american. wrens outscored wake forest, 41-31, in the second half on tuesday. and that's all i got to say about that.

Just flipped on the local low power fm to catch a few minutes of a show that plays cool oddities. Second tune I heard was a mashup - Earth Wind & Fire ‘September’ with Ozzy’s ‘Crazy Train’ vocals cut up to match. It was tremendous. Backed up with Jimi and Roky Erickson. Pretty cool show.
