ALBERTVILLE, Ala. (AP) - An Alabama woman has been charged with endangering the welfare of a child after police say she let her daughter ride in a cardboard box on top of their van. Albertville Police spokesman Sgt. Jamie Smith said the 37-year-old woman was arrested Sunday after police received a call about a minivan on a state highway with a child riding on top.
Smith said the woman told police the box was too big to go inside the van, and that her daughter was inside the box to hold it down.
Smith said the mother told officers it was safe because she had the box secured to the van with a clothes hanger.

We're still accepting "Mother of the Year" applications, BUT...
...it might be all for naught, as this nameless (and brainless) Alabama mother might have too big a lead. Look at her explanation/justification. Mind-boggling how many people still manage to walk the Earth despite lacking any cognitive brain function.

Reason to feel old #841:
I went to get my hair cut and the barber used the clippers to trim the hair growing out of my earlobe and the edge of my ears, just like they do with giant old man ears that get all weird and hairy. I didn't even ask for it. The guy just saw it and trimmed it. Not good times.
You gotta tweeze that stuff on a regular basis. If you just clip it, it will grow back stronger and soon you'll be braiding your earlobe hair.
